Vintage Bausch & Lomb brown nylon aviator sunglasses feature a durable yet lightweight French nylon frame and top of the line B&L P-15 polarized mineral glass lenses. The B&L P-15 polarzied lenses were designed for superior polarized protection for intense reflected glare conditions and provide 100% UV protection. Designed specifically for fishing and other high-glare sports, B&L P-15 polarized sunglasses filter out both reflected and direct glare, conditions that can impair vision and cause eye strain. The unisex Bausch & Lomb frame measures approximately 5.675" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.375" x 2.0" at the widest points with the right lens laser etched Bausch & Lomb. You'll find the distinctive B&L logo embossed on the exterior of both ear stems, and the inside of one stem is impressed Frame France along with the crown trademark while the inside of the other stem is impressed Bausch & Lomb along with their triangle logo. These are new old stock Bausch & Lomb P-15 aviator sunglasses in mint, unworn condition, part of the 1980s and early 1990s stock of a high end optical boutique in Beverly Hills, CA.
