1 Ray-Ban Wayfarer Street Neat sunglasses introduced a color explosion to iconic Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses and one of the original color combinations they produced were these super cool red and black ebony Wayfarer Street Neat sunglasses. The red and black color combination is really eye catching, a perfect color contrast that accentuates the angular lines and curves of the Wayfarer. You'll find only the elongated chrome inserts on the front frame and ear stems of these original Wayfarers, in contrast to the Ray-Ban logo in raised metal relief you find on the stems in later models. The unisex Ray-Ban Wayfarer frame measures approximately 5.375" temple to temple, and the G-15 mineral glass lenses measure approximately 1.875" x 1.5" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched BL near the hinges. The inside of one stem is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA while the inside of the other stem is impressed Wayfarer, and on some production the frame is also impressed B&L 5022 above the rear of the right lens. These are original B&L Ray-Ban Wayfarer Street Neat sunglasses c late 1980s / early 1990s, part of the collection of a well known sports figure and long time customer of the Vintage Sunglasses Shop.
