1 Vintage Vuarnet 002 Skilynx sunglasses feature the rare white French nylon frame in the iconic Vuarnet 002 style coupled with top of the line PX-4000 Skilynx double gradient mirror lenses. Vuarnet Skilynx lenses employ a blue anti-reflective interior coating along with its double gradient mirror silver exterior filters. This legendary Vuarnet lens eliminates glare and reflection, enhances contrast and depth of field, and many consider this to be the essential lens for in the mountains and at sea. You will see 50 black Vuarnet 002 sunglasses for every one white pair you see, and you'll find the Pouilloux PX on a ski trademark symbol embossed on the exterior of one ear stem and PX Vuarnet on the other stem. The unisex Vuarnet 002 frame measures approximately 5.375" temple to temple with Skilynx lenses measuring approximately 2.125" x 1.75" and both laser etched with the Vuarnet "V on a Ski" at the top center. The inside of one stem is marked 002 and impressed France along with the trademark crown mark, and the inside of the other stem is impressed Pouilloux.

2 In the early 2000s Vuarnet 002 Skilynx sunglasses were rebranded as VL 1011 and are identical in size, shape, appearance, and the top of the line PX-4000 Skilynx lenses. As with the 002 the unisex frame measures approximately 5.375" temple to temple with Skilynx lenses measuring approximately 2.125" x 1.75" and both laser etched with the Vuarnet "V on a Ski" at the top center. The inside of one stem is marked Vuarnet Made in France Pouilloux CE while the inside of the other stem is marked VL1011 005.
