1 Vintage Ray-Ban W2455 Sport Series 6 Outdoorsman sunglasses feature the amazing and rare Bausch & Lomb Ace A-30 purple Chromax lenses that give you rich hues of purple in all light conditions. Bausch & Lomb A-30 Chromax lenses were made with the finest optical glasses specially formulated with Neodymium, a rare earth element to enhance the selected colors of the spectrum. The Ace A-30 Chromax lens was always popular with golfers among others, for when golfing the A-30 Chromax lens accentuates greens, blues, and reds. Contours on the course stand out better so it's easier to read greens and survey fairways. The Chromax color contrast technology was one of B&L's best innovations, and while you find Chromax lenses in other colors and predominantly brown you find very few in the fabulous purple A-30 Chromax. The unisex Ray-Ban W2455 Sport Series 6 frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the 62mm Ace Chromax lenses measure approximately 2.5" x 2.0" at the widest points with right lens laser etched Ray-Ban and the lightning bolt Chromax symbol and both lenses laser etched BL. The top of the nose bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA while the bottom of the bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban 62 [] 14 and on some production one ear stem is marked W2455 YLAS, part of a great collection of rare vintage Ray-Bans in St. Louis, MO.

2 Vintage Ray-Ban W2454 Sport Series 6 Ace A-30 Chromax Outdoorsman sunglasses are identical to # 1 but feature slightly smaller Bausch & Lomb 58mm A-30 purple Chromax lenses measuring approximately 2.125" x 1.75" at the widest point with right lens laser etched Ray-Ban along with the Chromax lightning bolt and both lenses laser etched BL near the hinges. The top of the nose bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA while the bottom of the bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban 58 [] 14; and on some production one ear stem is marked W2454 YLAS.
