1 Vintage Gargoyles Legends silver mirror sunglasses were one of the early styles produced by the company, with high quality Italian frame and an innovative lens shape and design. These classic Gargoyles Legends feature full wrap silver mirrored lenses and the famous Gargoyles trademark at the top center. Made famous in movies such as Dirty Harry and The Terminator, vintage Gargoyles introduced the world to intricately designed and wrapped frames that preceded later styles by Oakley and others, and the full mirror lenses in these Gargoyles Legends sunglasses are the most desirable of all. The brushed pewter gunmetal frame is a perfect complement to the silver mirror lenses, and the Gargoyles logo is intricately impressed in the frame on the exterior of both ear stems which have high quality spring loaded hinges. The frame is a nice unisex size measuring approximately 5.375" temple to temple, and the silver mirror lenses measure approximately 2.75" x 1.675" at the widest points on each side of the center divide. The inside of one ear stem is marked CE Legends by Gargoyles USA while the inside of the other stem is marked Frame Italy US Patents Pending.
