1 Vintage Maui Jim MJ-193 black Aviator sunglasses are part of the first full Maui Jim sunglasses collection and their unique interpretation of classic aviator sunglasses and obviously not your typical Ray-Ban aviator. The nylon frame is strong and durable, but the stars of the show are the original Maui Jim double gradient mirror mineral glass lenses, a far cry from today's Maui Jim flimsy polycarbonate lenses. While you can find the MJ-193 with other lenses from this period we think you'll agree the black aviator frame with the silver mirrored lenses is particularly eye catching. The unisex Maui Jim MJ-193 Aviator frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the double gradient mirror lenses measure approximately 2.25" x 2.0" at the widest points with right lens laser etched Maui Jim. You'll find the Maui Jim logo embossed on the exterior of both ear stems, and the inside of one stem is marked Maui MJ-193 02 Made in Japan while the inside of the other stem is marked with the unique US patent number.
