1 Vintage Serengeti 8305 sunglasses are reminiscent - in fact a near exact replica - of vintage Revo 987 Napa sunglasses. Our research indicates that during the 1990s Revo and Serengeti shared some frame designs but used them with their own unique designs for precision optical lenses. So in Serengeti 8305 sunglasses you get the intricate etching on the beautiful etched copper frame, but you also get vintage Corning Optics mineral glass lenses. The unisex Serengeti 8305 frame measures approximately 5.375" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.0" x 1.75" at the widest points. The inside of one stem is marked Serengeti Drivers while the inside of the other stem is marked Corning Optics, one ear pad is impressed Frame Japan while the other pad is impressed 8305. They're part of the mostly Serengeti collection of a well known TV and movie industry figure and long time customer of the Vintage Sunglasses Shop.
