Vintage B&L Ray-Ban Caravan sunglasses are the original first issue of this iconic Ray-Ban style, evident by the early B&L USA impressed mark used only in the short production run of the first generation Caravan. That being said, they retain the same size and shape of all future Ray-Ban Caravan sunglasses so they look great on a wide variaty of face sizes and shapes. Ray-Ban Caravan sunglasses were originally launched in 1957 and as a streamlined, geometric alternative to classic Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses. The unisex Ray-Ban Caravan frame measures approximately 5.0" temple to temple with G-15 mineral glass lenses measuring approximately 2.0" x 1.675" at the widest points. The top of the nose bridge is impressed B&L USA , direct to you from a great UK collection of early and rare vintage Ray-Bans.
