B&L 12k GF Ful Vue Oliver Peoples Vintage Collection Sunglasses
Vintage B&L 12k GF Ful Vue sunglasses are an icon of modern design in and of themselves, but this pair was one of the frames Oliver Peoples procured to use as part of their original Vintage Collection from which all subsequent Oliver Peoples designs were inspired and here with the most highly sought after blue lenses. The first Oliver Peoples designs were inspired by an estate collection of vintage American-made eyewear purchased by the founders of the brand in the late 1980’s. The assortment included thousands of beautifully filigreed rimless and metal frames, including clip-on metal sunglasses produced by iconic American companies such as Bausch & Lomb and American Optical. All of the frames were unworn, in mint condition, and in their original packaging. For advanced collectors and fashion aficionados alike, don't miss the intricate etching that decorates the entire front frame and both ear stems, a manufacturing quality you just don't see very often regardless of year or brand. The unisex Bausch & Lomb 12k GF Ful Vue frame measures approximately 4.5" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 1.75" x 1.5" at the widest points. The rear of the nose bridge is impressed B&L 12k GF Ful Vue, part of a major collection of rare 10th century eyewear from a long time customer of the Vintage Sunglasses Shop.
