Sometimes something a collector does catches our attention to the point we think it's a variation worthy and unique enough to offer for sale on the website, and that's the case here with this compilation of an intricately etched Revo 1208 front frame and Maui Jim MJ-151 ear stems that come together like they were made for each other. In fact, early Maui Jim sunglasses were very reminiscent of analogous early Revo styles and even had mineral glass lenses like the Revos in contrast to modern Maui Jim polycarbonate lenses. The Maui Jim MJ 151 ear stems are a mottled black tortoise stem very much like those used on Revos from this period, and our well known collector and long time Vintage Sunglasses Shop customer decided to put these 2 together and voila! The unisex Revo 1208 front frame measures approximately 5.125" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 1.875" x 1.375" at the widest points with left lens laser etched h20 to indicate Revo's advanced optical polarization. The nside of one stem is marked Maui MJ-151 02 Made in Japan while the inside of the other stem is marked with the US patent number..Mint condition frame and lenses!
