1 Vintage Revo 1114 001 black Serpent sunglasses from the Revo Shapes collection c late 1980s is the companion style to Revo Python 1111 sunglasses- but much harder to find. The distinctive feature of Revo 1114 sunglasses are the intricately etched black metal serpent skin frame and the serpent extending off the sides of both temples. In these original Revo 1114 001 sunglasses that started the line, the black serpent frame is combined with Revo purple mirror lenses measuring approximately 1.875" x 1.375" at the widest points. The black and purple is a great look, and you also get the high quality metal frame construction and optical mineral glass lens technology for which Revo was famous. The unisex Revo 1114 Serpent frame measures approximately 5.0" temple to temple, and you'll find the Revo logo integrated into the serpent skin pattern near each of the 2 spring loaded hinges. The inside of one ear stem is marked 1114/001 Frame Japan, part of a Malibu, California purchase of fine vintage Revos from the 1980s and early 1990s.
