Bolle 8161 Crevasse Glacier Glases
Vintage Bolle 8161 Crevasse glacier glasses were produced at shared production facilities with sister company Vuarnet, sharing parts and exact size and shape with Vuarnet 027 glacier glasses (as seen in the James Bond movie Spectre) of this period but with great Bolle neutral brown lenses that have similar light transmission and UVA/UVB protection as Vuarnet's well known PX-5000 lenses also used in their glacier glasses. The flexible leather side blinkers protect your eyes from wind and glare from the sides, and the adjustable Outdoorsman ear stems that curve behind the ear and a strap through the leather side blinkers keeps them securely around your neck. The unisex Bolle frame measures approximately 5.675" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.25" x 1.875" at the widest points. You'll find the Bolle logo embossed on the exterior of one ear stem, and the inside of one stem is impressed France and marked 8161 CE.
