Revo 3040 001 Green Mirror Sunglasses
Vintage Revo 3040 sunglasses are one of the most popular styles Revo made in the 1990s, known for the sleek, industrial look Italian black metal frame in a high performance, subtle wrap design. Sadly, Revo never made the 3040 with their highly popular and rare green mirror mineral glass lenses, but soon after the original Revo company was sold in 1998 new owner Luxottica continued working off leftover original Revo inventory. Here, you have an original pre-1998 Revo 3040 001 frame but the lenses are the newer polycarbonate lenses Luxottica subsequently introduced across the entire Revo line. Of course, on the positive side you get a Revo 3040 001 with green mirror lenses, not an original look but we think you'll agree pretty super cool nonetheless. The unisex Revo 3040 frame measures approximately 5.375" temple to temple with green mirror lenses measuring approximately 2.125" x 1.25" at the widest points. You'll find the Revo logo recessed into the metal of each ear stem near the spring loaded hinges, and the inside of one ear stem is marked Revo Made in Italy CE Polarized LMS while the inside of the other stem is marked 3040 001 62 55 [] 18 135.
