1 Vintage Ray-Ban W1298 Onyx sunglasses feature the distincitve Ray-Ban Onyx shape, a design explosion of curves and angles, but with the Ray-Ban W1298 Onyx you get the super combination of yellow tortoise shell frame and Bausch & Lomb RB-3 lenses. You'll be hard pressed to find any other manufacturer that makes such an eye catching yellow tortoise frame, accentuated by the thick and tapering ear stems of the Ray-Ban Onyx. The B&L Ray-Ban RB-3 lens was originally developed for the US military and features "absorption balanced with the eye's sensitivity to colors for peak acuity." The unisex Ray-Ban W1298 Onyx frame measures approximately 6.0" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.25" x 1.5" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched BL near the hinges. You'll find the Ray-Ban logo subtly embossed on the exterior of one ear stem, and the inside of one stem is marked B&L Ray-Ban while the inside of the other stem is marked W1298 Onyx.
