Vuarnet 028 Skilynx Round Glacier Glasses
Vintage Vuarnet 028 Skilynx glacier glasses feature rare round Skilynx PX-4000 high performance lenses set in a durable nylon Vuarnet glacier glasses frame with brown leather side blinkers. Vuarnet Skilynx lenses are an amber-yellow base glass lens with anti-reflective interior coatings and double gradient mirror silver exterior filters. This legendary Vuarnet lens eliminates glare and reflection, enhances contrast and depth of field, and is recognized as the essential lens for in the mountains and at sea. The round Skilynx lenses are hard to find in vintage Vuarnet glacier glasses, and the black frame with brown leather side blinkers are the perfect complement and are designed to keep wind, snow, and glare out even in extreme cold conditions. Both ear stems are adjustable and wrap around the ears for a secure fit combined with the nylon strap that goes around your neck. The unisex Vuarnet nylon frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the round Vuarnet Skilynx PX-4000 lenses measure approximately 1.875" in diameter with both lenses laser etched with the trademark Vuarnet "V on a Ski" at the top center. You'll find the PX Vuarnet logo embossed on the exterior of one ear stem and PX embossed on the other stem, and the inside of both adjustable ear stems is impressed France along with the crown trademark.
