Vintage Maui Jim MJ-162 23 Kahuna sunglasses were one of the very earliest styles produced at the inception of Maui Jim, produced in the 1980s during a period of time when vintage Maui Jims more closely resembled classic vintage Revo sunglasses than the lighter, often rimless Maui Jim styles of today. You'll love the tortoise shell ear stems of the Maui Jim MJ 162, and the gleaming copper front frame is the perfect complement along with the performance and look of the double gradient mirror mineral glass lenses. The unisex Maui Jim MJ-162 Kahuna frame measures approximately 5.755" temple to temple, and the double gradient mirror lenses measure approximately 2.375" x 1.375" at the widest points with right lens laser etched Maui Jim. You'll find the Maui Jim logo embossed on the exterior of both ear stems, and the inside of one stem is marked Maui MJ-162 23 Made in Japan while the inside of the other stem is marked CE along with the US patent number. Rare style.
