Vuarnet 003 Skilynx Brown Sunglasses
Vintage Vuarnet 003 sunglasses feature a durable brown nylon frame and top of the line, highly reflective Vuarnet Skilynx PX-4000 lenses. This Vuarnet 003 frame has a removable center insert, and it can be worn intact with the insert sealing the opening at the nose bridge or it can be removed to give you a completely different look. Vuarnet Skilynx lenses are an amber-yellow base mineral glass lens with anti-reflective interior coatings coupled with double gradient mirror silver exterior filters. The legendary Vuarnet Skilynx lens eliminates glare and reflection, enhances contrast and depth of field, and is known worldwide as the essential lens for in the mountains and at sea. The unisex Vuarnet 003 frame measures approximately 5.375" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.25" x 1.875" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched with the trademark Vuarnet "V on a Ski" at the top center. You'll find the Vuarnet PX (Pouilloux) logo embossed on the exterior of one ear stem and PX Vuarnet embossed on the other, and the inside of one stem is marked 003 while the inside of the other stem is impressed Frame France along with the French crown trademark.
