Ray-Ban Zanzibar Red and Black Sunglasses
Vintage Ray-Ban Zanzibar sunglasses c 1950s - 1960s are a color explosion of red front frame with the distinctive wavy white highlights of the Candy Striper line coupled with jet black ear stems and Bausch & Lomb RB-3 lenses. These were one of the most famous of all vintage Ray-Bans in the middle of the 20th century, and their eye catching style keeps them enduringly popular today albeit very hard to find in excellent condition. The Ray-Ban Zanzibar frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the Bausch & Lomb RB-3 lenses measure approximately 1.875" x 1.25" at the widest points. The inside of both ear stems are impressed B&L Ray-Ban, part of a great collection of vintage 1950s and 1960s sunglasses in Dallas, TX.
