The sturdy wire ear stems of the black Ray-Ban 62mm shooters provide a secure fit perfect for active outdoor pursuits, and the "General" brow bar was designed by Bausch & Lomb to improve the balance of the sunglasses on the face. The style is classic aviator, with green teardrop shaped 62mm Bausch & Lomb RB-3 green lenses measuring approximately 2.375" x 2.0" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched BL near the hinges and right lens laser etched Ray-Ban. The unisex Ray-Ban 62mm Outdoorsman frame measures approximately 5.675" temple to temple, and the top of the nose bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA while the bottom is impressed B&L Ray-Ban 62 [] 14 and on some production one ear stem is marked L9500 YMAS, part of a major Santa Barbara, CA estate collection of vintage eyewear exclusive to the Vintage Sunglasses Shop.

The unisex black Ray-Ban 58mm Outdoorsman frame measures approximately 5.0" temple to temple, and the 58mm mineral glass lenses measure approximately 2.25" x 1.75" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched BL and right lens laser etched Ray-Ban. The top of the nose bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA while the bottom of the bridge is marked B&L Ray-Ban 58 [] 14.
