1 Vintage Carrera Porsche Design gold 5623 46 sunglasses with interchangeable brown gradient and smoke gray lenses are one of the most popular of all vintage Porsche Carreras c late 1980s. Carrera pioneered the use of optyl in optical lenses, an advanced, lightweight, and optically superb lens that allowed for the oversized shape of Carrera Porsche Design 5621 and 5623 sunglasses without them being overly heavy with glass lenses. The center bar on the nose bridge is hinged and raises to allow easy changing of the lenses; the lenses themselves slot onto the frame in clips and are then secured with the hinged nose bridge. The combination of brown gradient and gray lenses is the classic pairing of lens colors with this gold plated 5623 frame, giving you two distinct and eye catching looks in one pair of sunglasses. Spare lenses are stored in a felt pouch inside the included original and marked Carrera Porsche Design hard case, and the lenses measure approximately 2.5" x 2.25" at the widest points with left lens laser etched Porsche Design along with the PD logo. The unisex Carrera 5623 frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the inside of one ear stem is marked Porsche Design by Carrera along with the U.S. patent number and the inside of the other stem is marked Made in Austria 5623 46 130 (some of this model only marked Made in Austria 5623) along with the unique serial number impressed in the metal.
