Ray-Ban 12k GF Kalichrome Bullet Hole Shooter Sunglasses

1 Vintage Ray-Ban 12k GF Kalichrome bullet hole shooters feature amazing Bausch & Lomb Kalichrome C yellow hunting and shooting lenses set in the top of the line 12k gold filled frame c 1970s. The precision ground and highly polished glass B&L Kalichrome C lens is a yellow high contrast lens free of waves or any other defects that could distort vision or cause eye strain. Ray-Ban Kalichrome lenses are famous worldwide for their ability to intensify and enhance the visual spectrum, and sporting enthusiasts and pilots everywhere swear by these glasses when in difficult visibility situations. If you've never worn a pair of Ray-Ban Kalichrome yellow lens sunglasses then you won't fully appreciate the enhanced visual acuity in haze and low light conditions unsurpassed by any other optical quality sunglasses lens. Ray-Ban Kalichrome lenses intensify light and increase contrast, not to mention they look super cool! The vintage Ray-Ban bullet hole shooter is similar to the aviator but sits higher up on the face, and the area between the lens is smaller and separated by a circular ring that aficionados call the "bullet hole" complemented by cable temples that provide the most secure fit possible. The yellow Kalichrome lenses measure approximately 2.375" x 2.0" at the widest points, and the unisex bullet hole shooter frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple and impressed Ray-Ban B&L 1/10 12k GF on top of the nose bridge. Rare.

3 The earliest B&L Ray-Ban Kalichrome bullet hole shooters c 1950s had very thin bakelite brow bars versus the slightly larger brow bars seen over the next 40 years and a slightly smaller bullet hole opening. They are otherwise identical in size and appearance and are impressed on top of the nose bridge in the gold plating B&L 1/10 12k GF. Early and rare.

Item VS060-3 / Price: $385.00

4 By special order Bausch & Lomb produced these 12k GF Kalichrome bullet hole shooters with a small circular reading glass area formed into the Kalichrome lens itself at the inside bottom. It's hard to see for it's all part of the same Kalichrome yellow mineral glass as the rest of the lens but has low magnification to assist in reading or sharpshooting - you can see the round bifocal area here in photos 1 and 2. Rare.

Item VS060-4 / Price:$365.00

Please Note: These are all very early Bausch & Lomb production from the 1960s and 1970s. We apply the highest possible condition standards we can to still be able to offer such rarities, but if you expect them to look shiny and new - and if we ever saw them like that we'd know with almost total certainty they were fakes - you should buy something else. These are true collector items that can be worn and enjoyed after having survived in great condition 50+ years.
