Ray-Ban 12k GF and 10k GO Decot Bullet Hole Shooter Sunglasses

1 Vintage Ray-Ban 12k GF Decot bullet hole shooter sunglasses are a rare variation of traditional aviator shaped Ray-Ban bullet hole shooters, better suited for medium and smaller face sizes and for both men and women. The B&L Ray-Ban bullet hole was designed not just for good looks but to also create better balance on the face for hunters and shooters. Bausch & Lomb developed this "Decot Shooter" variation with well known sportsman Bud Decot in the 1950s, and they are still the benchmark shooting sunglasses for skeet and trap shooters worldwide. The Ray-Ban Decot bullet hole shooter's unique high-riding design ensures a virtually uninterrupted field of view and superb coverage for sport and bird shooters, who typically need a high-riding glass when aiming a shotgun. These early 12k GF bullet hole Decot shooters c early to mid 1970s have B&L green G-15 lenses that go great with the 12k gold plated frame and measure approximately 2.375" x 1.75" at the widest points. The unisex frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple, and the top of the nose bridge is impressed Ray-Ban B&L 1/10 12k GF to mark the iconic 12k gold filled frame. The pearlized General brow bar and Outdoorsman cable wire ear stems give these 12k gold filled bullet hole Decot shooter sunglasses the most secure fit possible, part of a retired Air Force officer's collection in San Diego, CA..
