Revo produced a lot of unique styles of sunglasses in the 1980s and 1990s, but we think Revo 1401 037 sunglasses were among the most unique designs. We don't see this small production style very often, and everyone here at Vintage Designer Sunglasses found the combination of the intricately etched gunmetal silver frame with Revo amber - brown lens a striking combination. The etching in the metal is ridged around the lenses and incorporates a design at the temples and on down to the end of the ear stems. Rounded - but not perfectly round - lenses are a good unisex size at approximately 2.0" x 1.875", and the frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple. The Revo logo is raised in the metal on each ear stem near the hinge points, and the inside of the ear stem is marked 1401-037 Frame Japan.
