The brown lens has a degree of gradient, and both lenses look great on the gold plated 5623 Austrian frame. The center bar on the nose bridge is hinged and raises to allow easy changing of the lens; the lens themselves slot onto the frame in clips and are then secured with the hinged nose bridge. We are partial to the color, shape, and size of the 5623 model, and both sets of lens are in very good condition and marked with the Porsche Design logo. Spare lenses are stored in pouches which are part of the included original and marked Carrera Porsche Design case, and they measure approximately 2.5" x 2.25" at the widest points. The frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and this Carrera Porsche Design vintage style of sunglasses has always been in demand by celebrities, collectors, and the general public. The inside of one ear stem is marked Porsche Design by Carrera along with the U.S. patent number, and the inside of the other stem is marked Made in Austria 5623 46 130 along with the serial number impressed in the metal.
