Vintage Carrera Porsche Design 5622 folding sunglasses c late 1980s feature a gold plated Austrian frame and gray gradient PD lenses. The gold and gray gradient look great together, but these are really a marvel of engineering. They fold up by closing at the nose bridge and each ear stem folding inward about 2/3 of the way down the stem, and as you can see in the photos they fold up into a very small package you can just put in your coat pocket or most anywhere else. The frame measures approximately 5.375" temple to temple making them attractive as men's and women's sunglasses, and the lenses are a rounded teardrop aviator shape and measure approximately 2.5" x 2.0" at the widest points. The inside of one ear stem is marked Carrera Porsche Design along with the PD logo, direct to you from a San Antonio, TX collection of fine vintage eyewear.
