1 Vintage Carrera Porsche Design P8478 sunglasses feature a gold plated frame and 2 interchangeable sets of Porsche Design lenses including the rare, hard to find gold mirror. As with all authentic Porsche Design lenses, they are made of optyl, a heat-hardened plastic weighing 20% less than alternative materials that results in a reduction of allergic reactions and improved fit through a memory effect providing permanent elasticity and dimensional stability to unique lens designs. The center hinge on the frame raises and lowers to allow the interchangeable lenses to be inserted into prongs on the frame and securely held in place. The unisex Porsche Design P8478 frame measures approximately 5.75" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.75" x 2.25" at the widest points with the left lenses of both sets laser etched Porsche Design along with the PD logo. You'll find the Porsche Design logo embossed on the exterior of one ear stem, and the inside of one stem is marked P8478 C2A 130 CE 3 while the inside of the other stem is marked Porsche Design and one ear pad is marked Made in Italy.
