1 Vintage Ray-Ban W0232 black chrome 58mm aviator sunglasses feature very hard to find Bausch & Lomb B-15 top gradient mirror lenses to go along with the eye catching black chrome 58mm aviator frame, a rare frame and lens combination for vintage Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses. The highly reflective B-15 TGM lenses are mirrored at the top, transitioning away from the exterior mirror coating at the bottom. The top gradient mirror lens was designed by Bausch & Lomb to give pilots and drivers the ability to look down at instrument panels with complete clarity while making use of the reflective mirror coating at the top to reduce glare in a way only a mirrored lens can do. The unisex Ray-Ban W0232 black chrome aviator frame measures approximately 5.375" temple to temple, and the 58mm B-15 top gradient mirror lenses measure approximately 2.25" x 1.875" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched BL near the hinges. The top of the nose bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA and the bottom of the bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban 58 [] 14, part of a fine collection of vintage Ray-Ban sunglasses owned by a well known European sports figure and customer of the Vintage Sunglasses Shop.
