Perhaps the singlest rarest Revo design ever produced, it is impossible to resist the eye catching style of the Revo 962 053 sunglasses with gold mirrored lens and tortoise shell ear stems. Revo uses a brushed gold metal with black highlights in this design on the front of the frame to hold the lens, and the brushed gold perfectly reflects and complements the highly reflective oval gold mirror lens of the 962 sunglasses design. Once you're around the corner of the temple, the tortoise shell also picks up hues of orange the similarly complement the gold mirrored lens to make this one of the best designs Revo ever produced. The gold mirror lens is highly reflective, great for sunlight and UV protection without the downsides of polarization (polarization has its positives too- read about the tradeoffs on our polarized versus non-polarized sunglasses information page). Best of all, the gold mirror looks super cool. These are perfect as men's or women's sunglasses, with frame measuring approximately 5.0" temple to temple and lens measuring 1.875" x 1.75" at the widest points. The Revo logo is embossed on the exterior of both tortoise shell ear stems near the hinge points, and the inside of the ear stem is marked CE 962/053 Frame Japan. Revo 962 053 sunglasses are almost impossible to find in any condition, so if we have a pair in stock we certainly advise not waiting to buy because they never last very long on the site. A unique, early Ray-Ban interpretation of classic tortoise shell sunglasses, these Ray-Ban W1723 Chromax sunglasses are decidedly not your usual preppy design. There are several unique design features incorporated into these early Ray-Bans, most notably the striking flecks of purple that add a lot of design flair to these vintage sunglasses. The purple highlights really catch the light, and it gives the sunglasses a really superb look on the face as you will see in the photographs. This style is one of our most popular Ray-Ban styles, but they're hard to find and were produced only in small quantities during their production run. The shape is also unique, with more elongated oval lenses than is the norm and, when combined with the purple accents in the tortoise shell of the frame, it gives these vintage sunglasses a really unique look. Ray-Ban Chromax Lenses employed Bausch & Lomb color contrast technology designed to enahnce key outdoor colors such as green, amber and red, making them appear brighter and easier to see while providing sharp, clear perception of details. Combining maximum function and 100% UV protection, Ray-Ban Chromax lenses are ideal for a wide variety of outdoor activties requiring accurate hand-eye coordintation such as golf, tennis, and driving. The frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple making them the perfect unisex size, and the lenses measure approximately 1.875" x 1.375" at the widest points. The right lens is inscribed with the Ray-Ban logo in script, and both lens have the small BL logo etched in the glass near each hinge point. The exterior of one ear stem has the Ray-Ban logo near the hinge point, the inside of one ear stem is marked B&L Ray-Ban U.S.A. impressed in the frame, and the inside of the other stem is marked W1723 YJAS and DISC. also impressed in the frame. It' just a great look for men or women, part of a Kansas City, MO estate collection of vintage eyewear exclusive to the Vintage Sunglasses Shop. Try Them On! $245.00

If you're like us and like the combination of tortoise shell frames with Revo blue mirrored H20 polarized lens, then vintage Revo 1005 008 sunglasses will surely attract your interest. Not many Revo 1005 sunglasses were made, so when we're fortunate enough to have a pair for sale they don't last long on the site. It's really a striking, eye catching design, and the French frame is an excellent size for men's or women's sunglasses measuring approximately 5.0" temple to temple. The oval lenses measure 1.875" x 1.75" at the widest points, and the left lens is marked H20 to indicate this is a polarized lens. The Revo logo is embossed on the outside of each ear stem near the spring loaded hinge points, and the inside of the ear stem is marked 1005/008 CE Frame France. Very hard to find, these Revo 1005 008 sunglasses were part of a Malibu, CA estate collection of top designer sunglasses sold exclusively through the Vintage Sunglasses Shop. /245 Try Them On! SOLD

A low production variation of classic Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses, check out the use of unique tortoise shell highlights in this gold plated aviator frame of these beautiful Ray-Ban vintage Tortuga aviator sunglasses. Typical Ray-Ban green G-15 lenses would have been contradictory with the look of the gold and tortoise Tortuga frame, but we think the use of the light brown Ray-Ban photochromatic lens was the perfect choice. This lens will darken somewhat in sunlight, but it appears a light brown indoors so the sunglasses adjust to different light conditions and they can be worn comfortably inside or outside. Both lens have the BL logo etched in the glass near the hinge points, and the right lens also has the Ray-Ban logo in script. The top bar of the double aviator nose bridge is marked B&L Ray-Ban USA impressed in the metal, and the bottom of the nose bridge is marked B&L Ray-Ban 58 [] 14. Great variation of the classic Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses design, direct from a Santa Monica, CA estate liquidation. Try Them On! $245.00

If you like the look of smaller size sunglasses that can be worn by men or women, it's hard to do better than the vintage Revo 1105 001 Italian design that combines an matte black frame with Revo's blue mirrored lens surrounded by a thin band of yellow tortoise shell. The blue mirrored lens of these sunglasses pick up plenty of hues of purple in the sunlight, and it's impossible to ignore the effect when you see them - sure to generate questions and compliments for the wearer. Each spring loaded hinge point at the corner of the temples has an etched design in the metal for added design flair, and the Revo logo is raised in the metal of both ear stems near the hinge points. The ear pads a glossier black, complementing the matte black metal frame and effectively completing the design. The frame measures approximately 4.75" temple to temple, and each lens measures approximately 1.5" x 1.5" at the widest points. You'll love the combination of tortoise, matte black metal frame, and the Revo blue mirrored lens that combine to make this one of Revo's most distinctive designs. The inside of the ear stem is marked 1105/001 Frame Italy, and these 1105 sunglasses also retain the original marked Revo celluloid nose pads. The combination of materials and shape of these sunglasses rest comfortably on the face while providing a look that is clearly out of the ordinary. The lens measure 1.875" x 1.75" at the widest points, and both have the etched BL logo in the glass lens near the hinge points. Both ear stems have an applied metal Ray-Ban logo on the outside near the hinge points, and the inside of one ear stem is marked B&L Ray-Ban while the inside of the other stem is marked Gatsby Style 8 W1523. Vintage Ray-Ban gold plated outdoorsman shooter sunglasses feature the B&L Kalichrome C yellow hunting and shooting lens, sunglasses which can sell for over $1200 in the Asia Pacific region and always top dollar in American and European markets. The precision ground and highly polished glass B&L Kalichrome C lens is a yellow high contrast lens free of waves or any other defects that could distort vision or cause eye strain. The B&L Kalichrome lenses are famous worldwide for their ability to intensify and enhance the visual spectrum, and sporting enthusiasts and pilots everywhere swear by these glasses when in difficult visibility situations. If you've never worn a pair of Ray-Ban Kalichrome yellow lens sunglasses then you just won't realize how much objects seem to leap out at you in any light situation, providing a degree of visual acuity that is really unsurpassed by any other optical quality sunglasses lens. The B&L Kalichrome lens actually intensifies light and increases contrast, not to mention they look cool. The shooter style is similar to the aviator but sits a bit higher up on the face, and the area between the lens is smaller and separated by a circular ring that aficionados call the bullet hole. These vintage Ray-Ban outdoorsman Kalichrome shooter sunglasses have the cable temples to provide a secure fit along with their cool utilitarian look. The teardrop yellow Kalichrome lens measures approximately 2.375" x 2.0" at the widest point, and the frame measuring approximately 5.25" temple to temple is marked B&L Ray-Ban USA impressed in the gold plated metal on top of the nose bridge. B&L refers to this style and lens as "Gradient Density Sunglasses" and notes in their period product literature that "these lenses have been filled with a metallic coating to obtain a vertical density gradation. This coating is hard and durable and, with reasonable care, lenses will remain in good condition." Since we have access to period B&L Ray-Ban product information and research, we also thought it relevant to pass on B&L's recommendation that you "make sure that this sun glass is properly aligned horizontally before your eyes, so that equal densities are encountered by both eyes." Everyone at the Vintage Sunglasses Shop gets excited when we find Ray-Ban Kalichrome yellow shooters in good condition, and we guarantee you will be astounded by the visual acuity provided by these glasses or return them for a full refund. If these are sold out, you may also wish to check our identical vintage 10k and 12k gold filled bullet hole Kalichrome shooters. Try Them On! /265 SOLD

1.Very fine example of rare Revo 1112 011 sunglasses carry on the 1112 model line form but with the desirable Revo stealth mirrored lens and black ear stems with gold Revo embossed logo. Put it all together and it's an elegant look, classy and yet sure to get noticed! The light blue stealth mirror lens is one of the most popular out of a pantheon of great Revo lenses, and we think nothing looks better with it than brushed metal nose bridge and hinges and black ear stems. The frame measures approximately 5.0" temple to temple to make it perfect as a unisex style, and the lens measure 1.75" x 1.25" at the widest points. The Revo logo is embossed on each ear stem near the spring loaded hinges, and the inside of the ear stem is marked CE 1112/011 (2 of the numbers have faded but this is the full style #) and Frame Italy. 2. Sometimes we receive from an estate collection a great pair of rare vintage sunglasses that just don't quite live up to our condition standards but are too good to pass up. Of course, we are also able to pass substantial cost savings on to you. These vintage and rare Revo 1112 011 sunglasses are 100% authentic and identical to the ones above and shown in the photos, but they have a few very light lens rub marks on the mirror finish that kept them from a main listing on the site. We could see them when looking closely and angled under a light source, but they were not visible when worn out in the sunlight which of course is the primary reason you buy sunglasses. The few light scuffs disqualified them from a primary listing on the site, but we're pleased to offer them to you here at a heavily discounted price as part of our Second Chance Program.

If you like eye catching style yet classic elegance, you will appreciate the design and quality of Revo 953 008 sunglasses that combine a super cool tortoise shell front frame, antique gold ear stems, and very rare Revo orange mirrored lens. Over the years, most every person here at the Vintage Sunglasses Shop has worn this model as their personal favorite, and it's easy to see why. Cool design features include the slightly flared at the temple frame shape, the etched gold hinges at each temple, and the impressed in the metal Revo logo on each ear stem near the hinge points. It's hard to beat the look of tortoise shell and Revo's highly reflective orange mirrored lenses which incorporate optical lens technology originally developed by a NASA engineer for the U.S. space program. Men and women here have all worn the 953 style, for the frame is a perfect unisex size measuring approximately 5.25" temple to temple. The lens measure approximately 1.875" x 1.75" at the widest points, and the orange mirrored lens picks up plenty of reddish hues in the sunlight. Perhaps the single most distinctive style of sunglasses in the market, we invite you to enjoy the unique style of Cazal Model 958 German sunglasses. Eclectic and very cool design features include the widely spaced double gold bar of the front top frame and around to the hinges, the double vertical darker bars right in the center, the thin laywer of tortoise that frame the round lens - round being the perfect complement to the extreme horizonal and angular design of the double gold bar. The darker color bars from the front center are repeated on the side around the Cazal logo near the hinge points, adding a good bit of flair to the design but in a subtle way. The frame measures a nice 5.25" temple to temple, and each lens is about 1.75" in diameter. The Cazal logo is on both ear stems near the hinge points, and the inside of one stem is marked Cazal Mod 958 Col. 33 and the inside of the other stem is marked Made In Germany Cazal. If you like Oakley sunglasses but find the style a little too extreme, check out the more subtle wrap and classic style of the Revo 3046 sunglasses. The sleek, streamlined design looks like it's so aerodynamic that it will help you fun faster and jump farther, and of course the Revo P H20 lens technology provides the best possible infrared and UV protection for your eyes. The black metal frame and integrated black ear pads make them look particularly striking when combined with the highly reflective blue mirror lenses, one of which is marked Revo P and the other marked H20. The frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple for a good unisex size, the the elongated Revo lens measure approximately 2.25" x 1.25" at the widest points. Like a variation on a good theme, Revo did several combinations of this style of frame and lens combination, but for us none looks better than the brushed silver and highly reflective blue mirrored lens which are featured on these Revo 1101 011 sunglasses. We love how Revo uses the metal only at the top of these lenses in a design flared a bit at the temple, and the lenses themselves are secured with a screw closure and metal band that hides behind the top of the frame to make it invisible. The blue mirrored lens is set in a thin band of metal down the sides and across the bottom, while the top of the frame forms a top horizontal bar for the lenses - the thick and thin contrast catches the eye - that looks great with the brushed metal look. The frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and each uniquely shaped elongated lens measures approximately 2.0" x 1.5" at the widest points. The Revo logo is impressed in the metal of each ear stem near the spring loaded hinge points plus they retain the original marked Revo celluloid nose pads, and the inside of the ear stem is maked 1101/011 Frame Italy CE. The legendary handmade Alpina M1 sport sunglasses were made in West Germany and first introduced in the 1980s and remains one of the most popular brands and styles of any vintage sunglasses today. While all Alpina M1 sunglasses are rare today, certain color combinations are more sought after such as these black Alpina M1 sunglasses with gold bands and rivets. Alpina sunglasses like their ski goggles are handmade in Germany, and those marked W. Germany such as these date to the years prior to the reunification of East and West Germany. Classic B&L Ray-Ban black Wayfarer sunglasses c 1980s are easy enough to find but hard to find in good vintage condition. Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses were first introduced in 1952 when their design was a revolutionary break from the metal eyewear of the past. Wayfarers enjoyed early popularity in the 1950s and 1960s, especially after they were worn by Audrey Hepburn in the 1961 movie Breakfast at Tiffany's. A lucrative 1982 product placement deal that featured Wayfarers in movies like those worn by John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd in The Blues Brothers and TV shows such as Miami Vice brought the Wayfarer to the height of their popularity. Actors such as Jack Nicholson have also become synonomous with the cool Wayfarer look. Today, Ray-Ban Wayfarers are cited as the best selling design of sunglasses in history. They're great as men's or women's sunglasses, measuring approximately 5.5" temple to temple with lens measuring approximately 2.0" x 1.875" at the widest points and both marked BL etched in the glass near the hinges. Both ear stems have the Ray-Ban logo in raised metal on the outside, and the inside of one stem is marked Wayfarer while the inside of the other stem is marked B&L Ray-Ban USA. The inside of one ear pad is marked L1724 PSAS. Don't be misled by more modern versions of Wayfarers now produced by Luxottica not to mention the Asian reproductions that have come on the market - these are the original and now legendary vintage Wayfarer I sunglasses of movies and television fame. Revo 1110 sunglasses are always hard to find and in high demand, with styling that is almost identical to Revo 962 sunglasses but with a more rounded lens shape. These Revo 1110 010 sunglasses feature black ear stems and the Revo mirrored purple lens that picks up increasing amounts of purple depending on the sunlight. The black and purple is one of our favorite color combinations, and you can't beat the shape of the Revo 1110 sunglass style. These are great sunglasses for both men and women, measuring 5.0" temple to temple with lens that measure approximately 1.5" x 1.75" at the widest points - round but not perfectly round. Original vintage 1980s Carrera Porsche Design 5623 sunglasses feature an all gold plated frame with rare brown gradient and smoke gray lenses with the brown gradient having photochromatic properties and shading to clear the lower down the lens you look. That color combination of interchangeable lenses with the gold Carrera 5623 frame makes for one of the most eye catching looks of what is already a legendary vintage sunglasses design. Both men and women today like the oversized sunglasses look, and the Carrera 5623 sunglasses are slightly above average in size but not to the point of looking absurd. The frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and each teardrop shaped Carrera Porsche Design lens measures approximately 2.75" x 2.5" at the widest points. Totally top of the line and over the top in design, Revo's elaborate take on vintage aviator sunglasses is a smashing success. Rare vintage Revo 990 010 sunglasses stand out in so many ways starting with the silvery gunmetal frame intricately etched at the temples and across the nose bridge. They are designed with 2 nose bridge bars as is common in aviators, but Revo designed their top bar to be extremely thin and arched upward much more than in comparable Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses. The brushed antique gold of the metal frame is really eye catching, drawing your eye in to notice the elaborate etching in the metal. The Revo logo is on each ear stem near the hinge points integrated with the temple etching, and the inside of the ear stem is marked CE 990/010 Frame Japan.
