Rare vintage Revo 1110 010 sunglasses offer a perfect combination of Revo's highly reflective blue mirror lens and matte black ear metal stems and frame, explaining why they and companion lens shape or stem variations such as 1110/001 and 1110/011 styles are clearly in our top 3 most requested models of any vintage sunglasses regardless of maker. The matte black ear stems have the Revo logo embossed in the stem near each hinge point, and it makes a super cool contrast color with the blue mirrored oval lens measuring approximately 1.875" x 1.75" at the widest points. The nose bridge is thin and elegant so as not to detract from the lens which are meant to be the focal point, and the frame measures approximately 5.0" temple to temple making them a great unisex style as men's or women's vintage sunglasses. The inside of the ear stem is marked CE 1110/010 Frame Japan, and the 2 celluloid ear stems are also original and marked Revo. Aside from the obviously superb styling that's sure to get you noticed, don't forget about Revo optical lens quality which gives your eyes 100% UV protection in addition to looking great. Vintage Revo 1110 sunglasses also share virtually every design feature with Revo 962 sunglasses, and Revo 1110 and 962 models comprise 2 of the top 3 best selling vintage sunglasses styles at the Vintage Sunglasses Shop. They are extremely hard to find and never last long on the site, so we advise not delaying if this is the style for you. Try Them On! $325.00

Indulge the feline in you with about the most streamlined and extreme example of French cat's eye sunglasses we've ever seen here! What more classic cat's eye combination could there be than jet black cat eye frame coupled with elongated green cat's eye lens, and this high quality French design is sure to please. The design is classic and certain to get a reaction from your friends and strangers, one of the ways our shameless female staff here at the Vintage Sunglasses Shop likes to get attention when they go out. Each of the lens measures approximately 1.75" x 1.0" at the widest points, and they're very elongated so the lens narrows quite dramatically. The frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple, and they are of European vintage and marked France on the ear stem. When these were unpacked from a major estate collection of vintage sunglasses, we kid you not that there were more than the usual number of MEOWS as they were circulated among our staff. Rare and vintage Carrera Porsche Design gold and titanium silver aviator sunglasses Model 5623 77 were made in Austria and are our personal favorite of any combination of materials Carrera used as variations on this classic style. Aside from the clearly striking frame, these Carreras feature the brown lens combined with the light, two tone gradient lens that has tints of brown and blue shading to almost clear, photochromatic in its darkening properties in direct sunlight. This classic design uses the center hinge between the two teardrop lens to replace the lens, rising to allow the current lens to be removed, the alternative lens inserted into small prongs on the frame, and then clamping down the hinge to secure the lens. This design provided a lot of flexibility to the owner with two complete sets of lens, and the only drawback is that the clamp could leave de minimus marks on the edge of the lens- which really doesn't matter since you don't see them when on the frame. These vintage Carrera Porsche Design 5623 sunglasses are rare in that you seldom see the light gradient lens, particularly on the titanium silver and gold frame. The alternative lens are stored in a velvet pouch which is part of the original hard sided case, perfectly sized for their sunglasses storage. The lens are all marked Porsche Design and measure approximately 2.5" x 2.25" at the widest points, and the frame measures 5.5" temple to temple. Fully and properly marked, one ear bar is marked Porsche Design by Carrera along with the U.S. patent number while the other is marked Made in Austria 5623 77 130 along with the serial number impressed in the metal of the frame. Top quality sunglasses with unprecedented flexibility to change lens to suit the occasion and the light conditions. Try Them On! /265 SOLD

Very hard to find and one of the best styles Revo ever produced, these vintage Revo 973 007 sunglasses speak for themselves in the photos. There's very little to say except WOW! We are partial to light tortoise frames for sunglasses, and the combination here of light green tortoise shell top frame accents and ear pads is really striking when set against the Revo green mirrored lens, one of the best lens and best colors ever made by Revo. Great vintage style just can't compare with modern production at any of the major sunglasses companies, and the 973/007 model is a good reason why. The highly reflective green mirror lens measure approximately 1.75" x 1.75" at the widest points and the frame measures 5.0" temple to temple making them suitable as men's or women's sunglasses, often true of vintage Revos. Both ear stems are marked with the Revo logo impressed in the metal, and the inside of one stem is marked 973/007 Frame Italy. The celluloid nose pads are also original and marked Revo. Vintage Revo 973 sunglasses reflect a very elegant style and an accessory that will always hold its value, sometimes seen in the market priced over $750. Try Them On! /2 $485.00

Eclectic and all handmade in Bavaria, these Alpina M3 sports driving German sunglasses are vintage 1960s when West Germany was still separated from East Germany. Without question, they embody high quality German industrial design best known in cars but certainly holding true in vintage German eyewear. The Alpina M3 has a high tech design that couple a titanium silver aviator style frame with studded gold bars that grace the tops of the lens. The M3 looks like serious driving or sporting glasses, and that's exactly what they are. The lens are blue gradient, darker at the top than the bottom and featuring a blue tint that fades to almost a clear photochromatic. Always well marked, the Alpina M3 has the Alpina logo embossed in the metal at each hinge point on the ear stems, and the interior of one stem is marked 2366310 141. When looking from behind, the upper left corner of the frame is marked M3 and the upper right corner of the frame is marked 60 []14. The right ear pad is marked Alpina on the outside and Made in W. Germany on the inside, while the outside of left ear bar is marked Handmade. These vintage Alpina aviator sport sunglasses measure approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and each teardrop lens measures approximately 2.25" x 2.0" at the widest point. Alpina is known not only for its skiing eyewear but also for its classic and flashy sunglasses. The Alpina M1 is recognized as one of the most legendary vintage sunglasses ever made and has been cult since the 80’s, and we believe the M3 from the 1990s is even better. They come in the original hard sided marked Alpina case with push to open closure, and it retains the original Alpina tag that uses the former World Trade Center in New York as the background for their marketing theme "Windows Of The World." High performance and great style. Try Them On! $225.00

The original classic! Early B&L Ray-Ban 10k gold filled aviator shooter sunglasses c 1950s - 1960s is the real retro style everyone is looking for today in the original Bausch & Lomb interpretation of aviator sunglasses that date back to the mid 1930s. These are a nice size for men and women, measuring approximately 5.25" temple to temple and with lens measuring 2.25" x 2.125" at the widest points. The 10k gold filled frame means that these sunglasses will last for years and years, and the 10k production dates to circa 1950s and 1960s. Another way to date these sunglasses is the absence of the etched Ray-Ban logo on the green lenses, something that B&L only began doing consistently circa early 1960s. These vintage Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses also have the wire shooter ear stems that give you a particularly flexible and secure fit that comes in handy for active outdoor pursuits. Bausch & Lomb developed Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses specifically for pilots in the late 1930s; pilots needed a good pair of anti glare sunglasses, and the B&L Ray-Ban design satisfied this requirement perfectly. The design was modeled directly from goggles being worn by the US military at the time, still standard issue for military pilots worldwide. When we have them for sale, it's a rare opportunity to own a pair of early gold filled aviator sunglasses with green pilot lens. These vintage Ray-Ban 10k GF sunglasses are marked on the top of the nose bridge B&L Ray-Ban U.S.A and under the nose bridge B&L 10k GF USA. Try Them On! /245 nphotos SOLD

Vintage 1950s cat eye sunglasses from France feature a satin finish taupe with lovely carved detailing at the corners accented with aurora borealis rhinestones and gold metallic bead accents. There's a lot of other things to love about these vintage cat's eye sunglasses starting with the extreme cat shape of the frame and lens coupled with the contrast between the exterior taupe finish and the almost white finish of the interior. You can't get more authentically 50s retro than this style, and everyone here had a lot of fun trying them on and snapping photos. The intricacy of the temples really sets these off as well, and you don't see the combination of carving, rhinestones and beads that adorn these at each temple. The frame measures approximately 5.0" temple the temple, and the elongated cat's eye green lens measure approximately 1.875" x 1.0" at the widest points. The inside of one ear stem is marked Frame France BH, and while we are not familiar with the specifics of the BH origin it is a company's mark that we see frequently on the finest French sunglasses from this period. Fun and stylish! Try Them On! $155.00

It's not easy to find the Revo H20 polarized Photo lens, so we were happy to find these vintage Revo 3022 093/ Y1 sunglasses with amber lens and Italian made copper frame. You will note from the photos that these Revos have a subtle wrap to the design, curving gently around the face but not as extreme as Oakley and modern wrap style sunglasses. We really like the color combination of the 3022 copper frame with Revo H20 Photo amber lens, and the frame style makes them suitable for a variety of activities including active, fast moving sports where you need a style that more closely hugs the face. The right lens is marked H20 Photo etched in the glass, and the inscribed Revo logo is on each ear stem near the spring loaded hinge points. One ear stem is marked Revo, Made in Italy, CE Polarized PHOTOCH, and the other ear stem is marked 3022 093/Y1 61 []18 125. The slightly brown H20 photo lens measure approximately 2.25" x 1.25" at the widest points in a nicely elongated yet curved and wrapped shape, and the frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple. /225 SOLD

One of the most eye catching designs in vintage sunglasses you'll ever see, the Cazal Model 195 sunglasses feature an incredible tiger stripe motif, superb contrast between clear and colored areas of the frame, unique hinges, and the always present Cazal West German quality in this example of vintage eyewear c mid to late 1980s. Every head will turn when you wear the Cazal 195 sunglasses, and it's a rare design that we just don't see very often. Popular with celebrities in music and movies, Cazal 195 sunglasses were made for several years in Passau in West Germany from about 1986. Cazal founder Cari Zalloni is a designer of outstanding reputation who created Cazal sunglasses (a name derived by combining the first syllables of his first and last names) which are known for an aggressive styling, unique detailing, and quality craftsmanship. The founder was quotes as saying that "a designer eyewear line that pleases everyone is unlikely to inspire. Good design must be thought-provoking." Alas, we digress. The frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple while the lens measure approximately 2.0" x 1.675" at the widest points. The interior of one ear stem is marked Mod 195 56 [] 10 Col 615 130 and the other is marked Frame W. Germany Cazal. The Cazal logo is also on each ear stem near the hinge points. Vintage Cazal sunglasses always sell fast, part of a major Seattle, Washington estate collection of fine vintage accessories to the Vintage Sunglasses Shop. Try Them On! $195.00

Ray-Ban made many great styles of sunglasses while part of Bausch & Lomb and before being sold to Luxottica in 1999, but we don't like any style better than classic and vintage B&L Ray-Ban Leathers sunglasses. Always popular and unique, it's a sunglasses design that you just don't see from any other manufacturer than Ray-Ban. The teardrop shaped lens and aviator frame are wrapped in leather, in this case a dark brown leather with black (on the front) and tan (on the ear pads) stitching that covers the front of the glasses as well as the ear pads. The gold plated frame is of typically high Ray-Ban quality, and the Leather aviators use the classic aviator design of a double gold nose bridge, the top of one covered in leather, in between the B&L Ray-Ban G-15 lens. The contrast of the gold plated metal with the leather is quite striking, and trust us (we all tried them on) they look great on the face and, in the case of our staff, was universally agreed to make us look much better than we really do. The G-15 lens both have the inscribed BL logo etched in the glass near the hinge points and measure approximately 2.25" x 2.0" at the widest points, and the right lens also has the inscribed Ray-Ban logo. The bottom of the top nose bridge that's leather covered on the top is marked underneath B&L Ray-Ban USA impressed in the metal. It's a unique, one of a kind look plus great UV eye protection with the vintage Bausch & Lomb lens. Try Them On! /265 SOLD

Stylish and elegant, the Revo 3009 086/61 Italian frame features a thin tortoise front frame holding Revo top of the line H2O polarized brown lens. From the side, the tortoise shell ear stems and brass hinges at the temples really give these vintage Revo sunglasses an understated yet eye catching fashion look. It's a perfect unisex size with lens measuring approximately 2.0" x 1.375" at the widest points and frame measuring approximately 5.25" temple to temple. There's not much more to say about the look as the pictures convey the sophisticated style pretty well, and they would make a great gift if you can't use them yourself. The Revo lens is marked H2O in the glass, one ear stem is marked Revo Made in Italy CE Polarized, and the other stem is marked 3009 086/61 51 []19 135. The frame also has the Revo logo impressed in the metal of both ear stems at the hinge points. Everyone here really likes tortoise shell vintage sunglasses frames in general, but nobody beats Revo's interpretation of the style nor the quality of their polarized H2O lens. Giorgio Armani CB8224 vintage sunglasses are very hard to find and feature a sleek combination of brushed gold metal with wide and uniquely shaped tortoise shell ear stems which have the Armani logo in raised metal at each hinge point. An eclectic Armani interpretation of classic tortoise shell sunglasses, this frame is lower and sleeker than the norm and provide a sharp contrast between the smaller round lens and the wider tortoise shell ear stems. The oval brown lens measure approximately 2.0" x 1.5" at the widest points, and the frame measures 5.5" temple to temple. The inside of one ear stem is marked Giorgio Armani while the other is marked CB8224. We love this Armani variation of the classic preppy tortoise shell look, these are decidedly not preppy and way cooler. This style is light and easy on the ears, and they really look great as men's or women's sunglasses. These Giorgio Armani CB 8224 tortoise shell sunglasses are priced to sell fast as part of a Dallas, TX estate consignment of vintage fashion accessories. Try Them On! $165.00

Vintage Revo 1402 010 sunglasses feature a great shape with a brushed gold metal frame and uniquely shaped Revo amber lens that combined make for a super retro look that's cool and elegant. The brushed gold metal frame features the Revo logo impressed in the metal at each hinge point on the ear bars which are intricately etched all the way down to make a real fashion statement. We particularly like the way Revo made some of their vintage frames to extend out a small distance from the end of the lens, with the lens itself diving down from that point to enter into its gentle curve around the bottom and back up to the other side. The etching and the brushed metal are a stylish combination, making these perfect to wear at both casual and more formal occasions. In addition to the Revo logo on the ear bars and original nose pads, the interior of the ear bar is marked 1402/010 Frame Japan. The lens measures approximately 2.125" x 1.75" at the widest points, and the color looks great with this frame style. Try Them On! $195.00

Early Revo 840 001 sunglasses are in the Wayfarer style but feature the pizzazz of Revo in the black matte carbon fiber Italian frame and highly reflective Revo blue mirrored H20 lens. The Wayfarer style looks great on a variety of men's and women's faces, but you'll love both the comfort and the attention grabbing style of Revo 840 sunglasses. The composite material frame is sturdy yet light, making this a great style for active outdoor activities, and the polarized Revo H20 lens offer 100% UV protection not to mention Revo's world famous optical quality. The nose pads are imbedded flush in the frame for a nice clean look, and the frame is a nice unisex style measuring approximately 5.5" temple to temple with blue H20 lens measuring 2.0" x 1.75" at the widest points and right lens marked H20. Revo 3005 084 S62 sunglasses are one of the best sports sunglasses you'll find, combining gray high endurance plastic ear stems that provide a unique color contrast with the Revo blue H20 mirrored rectangular lens in a silver metal frame. It's a great look ready for high performance and visual acuity from the Revo top of the line H20 polarized lens, and the frame's subtle wrap around the face helps to protect the side of the eyes from excess wind and sunlight. The style works great as men's or women's sunglasses, and these are well marked starting with the Revo logo at the hinge points of the gray ear stems, the original celluloid nose pads, and H2O is inscribed on the polarized Revo lens. Model, color, and size numbers are inscribed on the interior of the ear stems with one marked Revo Made in Italy CE Polarized and the other marked RE 3005 084-S62 54 []19 135. Super cool vintage Giorgio Armani metal oval 258-S 706 sunglasses are one of our favorite Armani accessory designs and suitable to wear for all occasions casual to formal. One ear stem is marked Giorgio Armani Made in Italy CE and the other stem is marked 258-S 706 140. The Giorgio Armani logo is also etched in the black metal at each of the spring loaded hinge points, and both lens have the etched GA logo in the glass lens that provide 100% UV protection. Vintage Revo 1211 001 sunglasses are very hard to find and feature a black etched Italian frame combined with blue H20 polarized and mirrored Revo lens. The Revo 1211 style is best known for the unique shape of the lens, an elongated oval in shape but with a larger and elongated bottom curve that complements the more subtly curved top. It's a really unique shape and overall just an eye catching style with the black on blue mirror combination. There is etching that goes down each ear stem along, around the lens, and across the center nose bridge for some added design flair. That being said, it's not an ostentatious look because extravagance would clash with the blue Revo H20 lens to which the eye is naturally drawn. Each Revo H20 blue mirrored lens is highly reflective and measures 1.75" x 1.5" at the widest points, and the frame measures 5.125" temple to temple so well suited as men's or women's vintage sunglasses. The right lens is marked H20 inscribed in the glass, the Revo logo is impressed in the black metal at each hinge point, and the ear stem is marked CE 1211/001 Frame Italy. A unique style, Revo 961 005 sunglasses are extremely hard to find and have a number of subtle design features that explain the popularity if not the rarity. The front of the frame features a brushed gold and slightly flared design, more angular than many Revo styles and reminiscent in a way of vintage French cat's eye sunglasses from the 1950s and 1960s. However, these Revo 961s are unique in that the lens are framed by a thin tortoise shell band held in place by an outer gold band, a perfect color complement and something we can't recall seeing in any other style of vintage sunglasses. The Revo lens are a particularly unusual shape in these sunglasses, fairly flat on the top but totally rounded on the sides and bottom. One of the most popular color, the Revo 961 005 sunglasses have Revo amber / purple lens measuring approximately 2.125" x 1.65" at the widest points that appear more brown in low light conditions and completely purple in brighter sunlight. The hues of color that come through are really eye catching, and they go great with the gold and tortoise frame which measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple. Each ear stem has the Revo logo near the hinge points, and the inside of one stem is marked 961/005 Frame Italy. Try Them On! /2 $195.00

These early Revo 967 011 aviator sunglasses have polarized stealth mirrored lens with great hues of purple and blue, a unique Revo interpretation of the classic Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses style. From our perspective, it's a winner! The 967 Revo sunglasses feature the stealth mirrored Revo lens that looks light blue in low to moderate light but hues of blue, purple, and the highly reflective mirror lens really kick in when seen in direct sunlight. The brushed metal frame is of typical Revo quality, perfectly finished and elegant not showy. These sunglasses have spring loaded hinges, and the ear stems have the Revo logo impressed in the metal at the 2 hinge points. This example also retains the original celluloid nose pad also also marked Revo. These are quite old so almost all of the marks on the ear stem have faded to the point of obscurity, but through magnification you can make out the mark Frame Italy and faint 967/011 model number. However, we know this style well - not that we see it very often - so we can confirm these as Revo 967 gunmetal aviators with the stealth mirrored lens. The lens measure approximately 2.0" x 1.75" and the frame measures 5.25" temple to temple. Rare and particularly hard to find in good condition. Try Them On! $325.00

Very rare vintage Ray-Ban 12k gold plated outdoorsman shooter sunglasses feature the B&L Kalichrome C yellow hunting and shooting lens, sunglasses which can sell for over $1200 in the Asia Pacific region and always top dollar in American and European markets. The precision ground and highly polished glass B&L Kalichrome C lens is a yellow high contrast lens free of waves or any other defects that could distort vision or cause eye strain. The B&L Kalichrome lenses are famous worldwide for their ability to intensify and enhance the visual spectrum, and sporting enthusiasts and pilots everywhere swear by these glasses when in difficult visibility situations. If you've never worn a pair of Ray-Ban Kalichrome yellow lens sunglasses then you just won't realize how much objects seem to leap out at you in any light situation, providing a degree of visual acuity that is really unsurpassed by any other optical quality sunglasses lens. The B&L Kalichrome lens actually intensifies light and increases contrast, not to mention they look cool. The shooter style is similar to the aviator but sits a bit higher up on the face, and the area between the lens is smaller and separated by a circular ring that aficionados call the bullet hole. These vintage Ray-Ban outdoorsman Kalichrome shooter sunglasses have the cable temples to provide a secure fit along with their cool utilitarian look. The teardrop yellow Kalichrome lens measures approximately 2.375" x 2.0" at the widest point, and the frame measuring approximately 5.25" temple to temple is marked Ray-Ban B&L 1/10 12k GF impressed in the gold plated metal on top of the nose bridge. B&L refers to this style and lens as "Gradient Density Sunglasses" and notes in their period product literature that "these lenses have been filled with a metallic coating to obtain a vertical density gradation. This coating is hard and durable and, with reasonable care, lenses will remain in good condition." Since we have access to period B&L Ray-Ban product information and research, we also thought it relevant to pass on B&L's recommendation that you "make sure that this sun glass is properly aligned horizontally before your eyes, so that equal densities are encountered by both eyes." Everyone at the Vintage Sunglasses Shop gets excited when we find Ray-Ban Kalichrome yellow shooters in good condition, and we guarantee you will be astounded by the visual acuity provided by these glasses or return them for a full refund.
