Very rare and super cool, you may never see another pair of vintage Ray-Ban W1265 in your lifetime, and even here at the Vintage Sunglasses Shop we only see about 1 pair every 3 years. It's an incredible look reminiscent of vintage Ray-Ban Clubmaster sunglasses but with lots more style and panache. Ray-Ban W1265 sunglasses are a design explosion, with light tortoise shell frame tops and ear stems, a gleaming gold plated nose bridge, and B&L green G-15 lenses that are both etched BL in the glass near the hinge points. This is a style and quality that is sure to get you noticed - or send them back to us for a full refund. They're great as men's or women's sunglasses with a frame that measures approximately 5.5" temple the temple and elongated oval B&L lenses measuring approximately 2.0" x 1.375" at the widest points. The inside of one ear stem is marked with the style number W1265 while the other ear stem is marked with Bausch & Lomb Ray-Ban USA. As a side note, the Bausch & Lomb was only spelled out in full on very early production runs, so we think these Ray-Ban W1265 sunglasses date to c 1960s. The back of the 24k gold plated nose bridge is also marked B&L Ray-Ban USA impressed in the metal, and even the 2 celluloid nose pads are all original and marked BL. Rare. Try Them On! $325.00

You may have seen our vintage Revo 1208 sunglasses in tortoise and copper frames, but you've probably never seen Revo 1208 011 sunglasses that combine etched silver gunmetal with jet black ear stems and green Revo lenses for a particularly striking and eye catching look. We like the look of 1208's in copper and tortoise and see many more of them, but everyone here was really taken with the combination of black and silver in what was always a very popular style. One thing that you always notice in Revo 1208 sunglasses is how the Revo logo is integrated into the intricately etched metal on each ear stem near the hinges; it's one of the best incorporations of the Revo logo of any example of vintage Revo sunglasses. The Italian frame is a nice size for men and women, measuring approximately 5.0" temple to temple with lenses measuring approximately 1.875" x 1.375" at the widest points. Please note in the photographs the detailing of the etched metal frame which is one of the most notable design features of Revo 1208 sunglasses. The inside of one ear stem is marked CE 1208/011 Frame Italy, direct to you from a major Raleigh, NC estate collection of the finest vintage sunglasses and other top fashion accessories. For a unique German designer sunglasses interpretation of classic aviator sunglasses, we think you'll really like these vintage Carrera 5405 sunglasses that couple a tortoise shell front frame with a gold top bar and gold ear stems. Carrera 5405 sunglasses c 1980s are moderately oversized and have been worn by celebrities over the past 30 years, and the gold and tortoise combination with Carrera brown gradient lenses is a look that's hard to beat. The Carrera optyl lenses measure approximately 2.5" x 2.0" at the widest points, and the left lens is marked Carrera in the lens. There is a gold bar on top of the double nose bridge which has the Carrera logo impressed in the metal, and the German frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple. The inside of the ear stem is marked Made in Germany 5405 11 125 EP. Try Them On! $225.00

Vintage B&L Ray-Ban 62mm aviator sunglasses have everything that collectors and vintage fashion afficianados look for - gold plated Arista frame, "The General" top nose bridge bar, cable wire outdoorsman ear stems for comfort and a secure fit, and green G-15 B&L Ray-Ban lenses which have etched BL at each hinge point and the Ray-Ban logo in script on the right lens. This style is the classic and legendary choice of pilots and aviators worldwide, particularly popular in the military and seen on many famous historical figures including General Douglas MacArthur. It's also the style frequently chosen by Michael Jackson, and the moderately oversized look of the 62mm teardrop lenses have also made them a choice of many female celebrities such as Demi Moore and Madonna. The gold plated B&L Ray-Ban frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple, and the 62mm B&L lenses measure approximately 2.5" x 2.0" at the widest points. The top of the nose bridge is marked B&L Ray-Ban USA, while the bottom of the nose bridge is marked B&L Ray-Ban 62 [] 14 all impressed in the metal. Try Them On! $235.00

Rare 1950s / early 1960s B&L Ray-Ban cat's eye "Beatnik" sunglasses have a style that will leave jaws dropping wherever you wear them. It's really an amazing design, with a 2 tone frame that combines black and pearl in an always striking color combination but with added flair delivered by the B&L green cat's eye lenses. These vintage cat's eye sunglasses are guaranteed to make you want o MEOW, and not only is the color combination and shape striking but you also get top of the line B&L Ray-Ban quality in frame materials and lens technology. The frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple when taking into account the flared corners, and the lenses measure approximately 1.75" x 1.25" at the widest points. The inside of both ear stems is marked B&L Ray-Ban USA impressed in the frame. The black and pearl color combination coupled with the green B&L cat's eye lenses are what make this vintage 1950s example of cat's eye sunglasses really stand out, part of a major consignment of 1950s and 1960s fashion exclusive to the Vintage Sunglasses Shop and the Collectics Group. Beautiful to look at and elegant to wear, vintage Revo 1121 058 sunglasses feature an Italian frame combining antique bronze and tortoise shell that holds Revo's top of the line brown H20 polarized lenses to great effect. You'll notice that the hinges on Revo 1121 sunglasses are a little more distinctive than many vintage Revo styles from the 1980s and 1990s, with a lighter, thinner profile than the norm. The antique bronze front frame measuring 5.25" temple to temple, bronze stem hinges, and the tortoise shell ear stems make this a nice unisex style for both formal and casual occasions. The Revo brown oval H20 lenses measure approximately 1.75" x 1.25" at the widest points, and the left lens is marked H20. The inside of the ear stem is marked CE 1121/058 Frame Italy, and you will also fine the original marked Revo celluloid nose pads to complete the all original look. Try Them On! /235 SOLD

Rare vintage Bausch & Lomb Wings mirrored glacier glasses have the unique Wings one piece optical lens and leather side flaps with restraining strap that made these the choice of many top skiers and mountaineers since they were first introduced in the 1980s. When you're skiing, especially on warmer sunnier days, you might not want to wear ski goggles but you still want to protect your eyes from glare and wind. If that's the case, nothing does a better job than B&L Ray-Ban glacier glasses. These vintage Wings arctic sunglasses measure approximately 5.5" temple to temple and feature a brown tint in a moderately reflective mirrored lens that is also gradient, i.e. trending somewhat lighter in the lower portion of the lens. They have flexible outdoorsman ear stems that wrap around the ears for a secure fit, and the leather flaps on each side fold inward for easy storage in the original B&L Wings black leather storage case which is included. The Wings logo is in gold at each hinge point on the ear stems, and one ear stem is marked Bausch & Lomb along with the B&L logo while the inside of the other stem is marked Frame France - Nylon. It's a fine example of the best in B&L cold weather ski sunglasses, and everyone here is partial to the one piece Wings lens design. Try Them On! $285.00

Exceptional design is the defining characteristic of these vintage Revo 1101 030 sunglasses with mottled light blue Italian metal frame and Revo stealth mirrored lenses. The design is reminiscent of cat's eye sunglasses from the 1950s, but with a lot more design flair. We love the mottled blue frame, a color you only see in about 3 of Revo's hundreds of style lines, and what better lens could you combine with it than their highly reflective light blue stealth mirror lens. The mottled blue top frame of the front continues on down each ear stem which really gives Revo 1101 sunglasses a very distinctive look whether from the front or from the sides. The frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple making them popular for men and women, and the elongated oval stealth mirrored lenses measure approximately 2.0" x 1.25" at the widest points. Screws in the back of the frame hold the lenses in place to allow for the thinnest possible profile from the front, a unique Revo design that you don't see from any other manufacturer. The Revo logo is impressed in the metal of each ear stem near the spring loaded hinge points, and the inside of the ear stem is marked 1101/030 Frame Italy. Try Them On! $275.00

These legendary Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses are one of our most requested styles, with cable wire ear outdoorsman ear stems, "General" bar above the double aviator nose bridge, and 58mm brown Polar Ray lenses. This particular style has been the choice of pilots the world over for over 60 years, and these were early B&L production c 1970s. The gold plated Arista frame ensures that these vintage B&L Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses will still be in good condition after another 50 years, and you can't beat the original B&L optical lens technology used in their Polar Ray lenses for glare reduction and UV ray protection from the sunlight. Bausch & Lomb Polar Ray lenses were optically ground and polished 6 base glass, and we are including an original Polar Ray "test tag" which came with the sunglasses and has a small round insert to show buyers the effect of the Polar Ray technology. The cable wire ear stems are flexible and adjustable for a comfortable yet secure fit, and as you'll see from the photos these vintage aviators are not only high performance but they also look great at the same time. The top bar of the nose bridge is marked B&L Ray-Ban USA while underneath the frame is marked B&L 58 [] 14 USA, all impressed in the metal. The frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple, and the B&L brown Polar Ray teardrop shaped lenses measure approximately 2.25" x 2.0" at the widest points. Try Them On! $245.00

Revo 1119 062 sunglasses have a classic shape, jet black French frame, and Revo's top of the line stealth mirrored lenses which all together create quite an eye catching look in vintage sunglasses. While the shape is classic, you'll still notice some unique design variations in areas such as the slightly irregular shape of the stealth mirror lenses. Revo 1119 062 sunglasses were a low production style and very hard to find, and the durable French composite frame makes them a good choice for those who sometimes give their sunglasses a little abuse. The frame itself measures approximately 5.0" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 1.875" x 1.125" at the widest points. The Revo logo is embossed in gold on each ear stem near the spring loaded hinge points, and the inside of the ear stem is marked 1119/062 CE Frame France. Vintage Ray-Ban 58mm driving sunglasses are quite unique, combining moderately reflective mirrored B&L brown B-15 lenses great for all light conditions with the top "General" bar and regular ear stems for easy removal. These B&L lenses provide the perfect combination of UV protection and mirrored finish to reduce glare from road conditions and sunlight while driving. The gold plated B&L Ray-Ban frame is built to last, not like modern versions of Ray-Ban sunglasses now made by the Luxottica Group among their many other brands. While the same shape as Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses that more typically have the cable wire outdoorsman ear stems, drivers like the easy on/off that's more associated with regular ear stems on sunglasses. The frame and moderately reflective brown 58mm lenses are the right size for both men's and women's sunglasses, with frame measuring approximately 5.25" temple to temple and lenses measuring approximately 2.25" x 1.875" at the widest points. The Ray-Ban logo is in script on the right lens, and both left and right lens are marked BL etched in the glass near the hinges. The top of the double nose bar is marked B&L Ray-Ban USA, and the bottom of the nose bridge is marked B&L Ray-Ban 58 [] 14. Includes original leather case marked Ray-Ban for Driving Bausch & Lomb. It was difficult to wrench these vintage Ray-Ban 62mm Caravan sunglasses out of the hands of our staff, for they are quite unique and rare in that they have a red tortoise shell General bar and red tortoise ear pads that are almost impossible to find in vintage Ray-Ban Caravans. You just don't see tortoise accents very often on classic Ray-Ban Caravan or aviator sunglasses, but we think they should have produced many more because the look is just superb. The use of the tortoise for both the General top bar and the ear pads ties the design together nicely. Everyone loves the interesting shape of the Caravan lenses, and these brown B-15 lenses are perfectly complementary to the use of gold and tortoise in the frame and measure approximately 2.5" x 2.0" at the widest points for a moderately oversized look. The frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the top of the double nose bridge is marked B&L Ray-Ban USA while the bottom of the bar is marked B&L Ray-Ban 62 [] 14 - all impressed in the metal. From the deadstock cache of a Wisconsin optician's estate, check out these gold plated vintage Ray-Ban 58mm aviator / driving sunglasses with top General bar and regular ear stems for easy on and off convenience. The gold frame measuring approximately 5.25" temple to temple really complements the B&L G-15 green lenses which measure approximately 2.25" x 1.875", dating to the period before the Ray-Ban logo was used in script on the lens but after the point they began to use a small etched BL near each hinge point c late 1960s / early 1970s. It's a classic style that incorporates the best in visual acuity through Bausch & Lomb optical lens technology, and so different from modern reproductions of this style that it really isn't of much use elaborating on the quality differences. The top of the double nose bridge is marked B&L Ray-Ban USA while the bottom of the nose bridge is marked B&L Ray-Ban 58 [] 14. Try Them On! $225.00

Direct from a Jacksonville, Florida estate, enjoy seeing the most unique pair of 1960s hippie glasses we've ever had - oversized round lenses in a geometric pattern frame coupled with twin chains and matching dangle discs off each side for a look that's absolutely guaranteed to get noticed anywhere you go! Even here at the Vintage Sunglasses Shop where we've seen thousands of vintage sunglasses, nobody had ever seen this style before. The flat front frame sits nicely on your nose, and the chains go over your ears to let the dangles hang below behind your ears. The dangles are light, but they provide sufficient weight to keep the sunglasses securely on your face. The front frame measures approximately 5.675" side to side, each round smokey brown lens measures approximately 1.875" in diameter, and the dangles which match the geometric pattern of the sunglasses measure approximately 2.0" in diameter. It's hard to photograph these any any normal way given the absence of traditional ear stems, but we think you'll get the picture from the model shots. You'll be the talk of any party or have people following you around the shopping mall when you wear these very unique period 1960s hippie sunglasses. Try Them On! $165.00

Vintage Armani 631 890 sunglasses are one of Giorgio Armani's most stylish and elegant sunglasses designs, a rich orange tortoise shell frame contrasted with antique gold that wraps each lens and forms the nose bridge and each of the etched metal hinges. The width of the tortoise shell around the lens is also quite striking, a unique Armani design that screams out class and demands attention. Held within the tortoise shell and antique gold frame are brown Armani optical quality lens, both inscribed with the GA logo in the glass near the hinge points, that offer 100% UV protection in addition to looking great. The subtle etching of the gold hinges is a nice added feature that draws the eye to the Giorgio Armani logo on each ear stem near the hinge points. Modern Armani sunglasses have the logo plastered all over the sunglasses ruining the design in our opinion, but here it is subtle and understated. The oval lens measure approximately 1.75" x 1.5" at the widest points, and the frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple making these a super unisex design as men's or women's sunglasses. The inside of one ear stem is marked Giorgio Armani Made in Italy CE while the other is marked 631 890 135, and these sunglasses also have the original celluloid nose pads also marked GA. Vintage Giorgio Armani 631 sunglasses are perhaps the most popular of all vintage Armani sunglass styles, and as a complement to variations in gold and black metal we think Armani 631 891 sunglasses are a pretty striking combination of etched silver and Italian tortoise shell. Very rare, low production vintage Revo 960 005 green mirror sunglasses c 1980s were one of the most popular styles ever produced by Revo and still a top 5 favorite of vintage sunglasses collectors. It's easy to see why - Revo gold Italian frame with the Revo logo embossed on each ear stem near the hinges with round, highly reflective Revo green mirrored lenses measuring approximately 2.0" in diameter. It's a striking and eye catching design sure to attract attention, and the frame which measures 5.25" temple to temple is a perfect unisex size for men and women. You can't beat vintage Revo mirrored lens technology which originated in the NASA space program in the late 1970s, and while it's debatable what the most popular color is our vote here from 10 years of experience would probably have to be green. Mirrored lenses protect your eyes in ways that traditional polarized lenses don't, and they're particularly good for water sports, snow and ice conditions, or just to look super cool. These Revo 960 sunglasses come to you direct from a major Malibu, California estate collection of the finest vintage sunglasses we've ever had, but this pair fell just short of our condition vetting standards due to a minor scuff to the mirrored finish on each lens. The scuffs are not noticeable outdoors in sunlight, but they are slightly visible indoors if you're really thinking about it. While these fell just short of our normal condition vetting on the site, we took these nonetheless because everyone here said they'd readily wear them and because they're exceptionally rare. Fortunately, we are also able to offer them for about $200 less than the normal retail price for Revo 960 green mirror sunglasses - they would easily sell for at least $450 if perfect. Don't be fooled by fakes - vintage Revo styles are widely counterefeited as are most vintage designer sunglasses, and Revo 960's are one of the styles you'll see in fakes due to the price and rarity.
