Vintage
Revo 850 001 sunglasses with purple mirrored lens are hard to find,
and they feature a black matte frame made in France that nicely
complements the highly reflective purple Revo lens. It's a great
look whether you're lounging around the pool or dressed up to make
a statement at a big daytime event. The nose pads are imbedded in
the black matte French frame, so you get the comfort of a nice celluloid
nose pad that doesn't detract from the clean, retro lines of these
stylish vintage sunglasses. The French frames are made of a rigid
carbon fiber composite material, more rigid than plastic but a different
feel and look from metal. We particularly like the shape of the
850 Revo sunglasses, similar in style to Ray-Ban Wayfarers but more
streamlined and rounded for added design flair. They are analogous
to vintage Revo 860 sunglasses, also offered for sale here when
possible, in which the only significant difference is a thinner
and somewhat more traditional nose bridge and an embossed Revo logo
versus the gold tab logo of these 850's. The mirrored purple lens
measures approximately 2.0" x 1.875" at the widest points,
and the frame itself measures 5.25" temple to temple. These
vintage Revo sunglasses are marked on the inside of the ear stem
850/001 along with Frame France, and they also have the Revo logo
in gold on the exterior of the ear stems at each hinge point. The
Revo purple mirrored optical quality glass lens blocks 100% of UV
rays, 95% of infrared rays, and it's very durable with an excellent
resistance to scratching. |

One
of the most highly sought after styles ever produced, Revo 953 001
sunglasses feature blue mirrored Revo lens set in a high contrast
black matte frame, a classic of vintage sunglasses style. Revo model
953 sunglasses, especially with blue, green, purple, and amber lens,
are among the top styles that Revo ever produced, and it's easy
to see why. The black matte frame is curvaceous and sized to look
great on the face. The metal ear stems are a nice contrast to the
matte black front frame, and each stem has the Revo logo impressed
in the metal and sleek black ear pads on the rear. Revo 953 sunglasses
are also notable for the intricate etching in the metal nose bridge
and the etched metal highlights that accent each temple on the front
of the glasses and around the hinge points. The blue mirrored lens
is of course one of Revo's most popular, made of optical glass and
produced circa early 1990s before Revo was acquired by Luxottica
and quality declined. The lens have a highly reflective blue mirror
finish when viewed from the front and look brown when looking through
them from behind, a proven combination pioneered by Revo for superb
anti-glare protection. The lenses themselves measure approximately

top example of mid-century 1950s cat's eye sunglasses, these vintage
French cat eye sunglasses are a real color explosion at the temples.
The color swirls at the left and right corners are soft and iridescent,
with hues of shimmering iridescent pink, blue, and gold reminiscent
of Tiffany Favrile glass. In a striking design, the color swaths
swirl toward the nose, progressively narrowing until only the inner
gold band continues on around the entire perimeter of the cat eye
shape of the left and right lens. These colors are well highlighted
against the black base color of the frame and the dark, smoky lens
color. These vintage French cat's eye sunglasses also have a subtly
curved shape for easy wearing contoured to the face, and we particularly
like how the corners turn back a bit more dramatically to accent
the cat eye design. Each lens measures approximately 2.0" x

Revo 962 010 sunglasses with rare green mirrored lenses are one
of the most sought after styles of vintage sunglasses in the market
today - and very hard to find. It's one of the favorite styles of
the staff here at the Vintage Sunglasses Shop, and everyone loves
the contrast of the matte black ear stems with gold embossed Revo
logo at the hinge points with the Revo green mirror lens. The metal
portions of the frame are an antique gold with black highlights
that really bring out and complement the black ear stems. Highly
reflective, the green mirrored lenses provide stealth privacy while
protecting your eyes from harmful UV rays using a technology originally
developed by NASA engineers for the U.S. space program. Mirrored
lenses provide superior depth perception and contrast relative to
traditional polarized lenses, useful in conditions where you may
have patches of ice or need to read numbers on an LCD or LED instrument

striking and elegant contrast with the highly reflective Revo blue
mirrored lens. The oval lens measure approximately 2.0" x 1.75"
at the widest points, set in a black matte metal frame that provides
the final complement to the tortoise shell ear stems. These are

purple lens and tortoise shell accents above each lens are one of

between the light tortoise, black metal frame, and reflective purple
lens is simply one of the most eye catching and unique color combinations
imaginable. The lenses appear purpled and mirrored from the front

cool Ray-Ban Clubmaster W0365 vintage sunglasses ooze cool, and
for some reason we just couldn't stop thinking about Jack Nicholson
while photographing these vintage Bausch & Lomb Ray-Ban sunglasses.
We are particularly fond of this style, with G-15 polarized Ray-Ban
lens which are marked with Ray-Ban on the right lens and the small
BL etched in the glass lenses near the hinge points. The nose bridge
and the bottom edge of the sunglasses are all plated in gold, while
black ebony top accents and ear stems are the perfect complement
to the impact resistant, constant density G-15 gray - green optical
glass B&L lenses which provide superior brightness control,
true color rendering, and 100% UV protection. The lenses which measure
aproximately 2.0" x 1.75" at the widest points. The sunglasses
are also marked B+L Ray-Ban U.S.A impressed in the gold metal behind

Stylish
whether worn with tuxedo or jeans, these Giorgio Armani tortoise
shell sunglasses exude elegance and the use of quality materials.
We love the Armani tortoise shell, a little lighter in color and
more shimmering in light sources than darker versions from Ray-Ban
and others. The nice light tortoise shell color is perfectly accented
with brass insets at the two temples and around to the ear stems
where the Giorgio Armani logo then appears. The design is classic,
reminiscent of Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses but with a unique style
and higher quality materials. Each of the two ear stems is marked
on the exterior with the Giorgio Armani logo in slightly raised
gold lettering, while the interior of one ear stem is marked 62
Small 140 while the other ear stem has the faint traces of Made
in Italy. These are a nice unisex size suitable for most anyone,
with lens that measure approximately 2.0" x 1.75" at the
widest point and frame which measure approximately 5.5" temple
to temple. They have nice Armani brown UV protected mineral glass
lenses, a nice complement with the light tortoise color of the frame
and with the etched GA mark in the glass lenses near the hinge points.

Everyone
on our staff loves the Revo 1111 011 Python metal frames with the
gray metal look of snake skin down each ear stem and on the gently
curved nose bridge. These Revo 1111 Python sunglasses are paired
with the stealth mirrored H20 polarized lens are perhaps the finest
single lens Revo ever produced. Over many years, this style has
proved to be of the size and lasting style that looks equally striking
on a man or a woman. You can see many hues the stealth lens with
light blue with rose and purple highlights the most predominant,
and the look varies in different light conditions. However, in most
light conditions, the mirrored stealth lens is highly reflective
and makes it impossible for others to see you but gives your eyes
a clear and UV protected view of them, hence the "stealth"
moniker. The oval H20 lens themselves measure approximately 2.0"
x 1.25" at the widest points, and one is marked with the Revo
H20 logo. The frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to
temple and is suitable for a man or a woman. The inside of the ear
stem is marked CE 1111/011 Frame Japan and the Revo logo is also
impressed in the metal at the hinge points on both ear stems, a
nice complement to the snakeskin texture of the Revo python look.
The ear stems have spring loaded hinges which makes for a comfortable
fit, and these are all original including the Revo logo on the two
celluloid nose pads. Sleek and stylish with a unisex size and look,
the classic Revo Python sunglasses have been copied including variations
by Revo themselves, but the clean lines and uniqueness of the original
style you see here has never been equaled or surpassed. |

classic and never out of style, these vintage Ray-Ban 58 [] 14 aviator
sunglasses feature a 24k gold plated B&L Ray-Ban frame and G-15
anti glare Bausch & Lomb lenses that work great in all light
conditions. If you want the most classic style of vintage aviator
sunglasses, the 58 14 gold aviator sunglasses are probably the design
you probably want. Known for their oblique teardrop lens shape,
the 58 14 aviator sunglasses consist of an extremely light frame
weighing only about 150 grams. They are made of 24k gold-plated
metal with the gray - green G-15 lenses made of mineral glass to
filter out infrared and ultraviolet rays. Pilots in the U.S. Army
Air Corps adopted these sunglasses immediatly after their introduction
in the early 1940s, and this is a nice vintage pair c 1980s when
B&L Ray-Ban quality and adherence to the original materials
and specifications was still strong. The 58 14 teardrop lens are
nicely shaped and sized to provide full coverage to the eye but
yet sit comfortable on a variety of face styles and shapes. The
lens measure approximately 2.25" x 1.875" at the widest
points of the teardrop, and they measure 5.25" across temple
to temple. These vintage B&L Ray-Ban sunglasses are well marked
as usual. The frames are marked B+L Ray-Ban USA impressed in the
metal on top of the nose bridge, and the bottom of the nose bridge
is marked B+L Ray-Ban 58 [] 14 also impressed in the metal. The
right lens is marked with the Ray-Ban logo in in the glass, and

Like
much of the Vintage Sunglasses Shop selection, you are unlikely
to see many examples of vintage Revo 1208 010 Italian frame sunglasses,
a design explosion that combines an intricately etched antique bronze
metal frame with etched Revo logos on the two ear stems at the hinge
points at which point a transition is made to tortoise shell. The
tortoise and etched antique bronze metal are perfectly matched for
each other, and the elaborate etching leaves no doubt that these
are and always have been an expensive to make and expensive to buy.
The etching goes across the nose bridge and around the entire perimeter
of the H2O polarized lens that measure approximately 1.75"
x 1.375". The Revo logo impressed in the metal is among the
msot striking of any design Revo used in their sunglasses. The amber
H20 lenses pick up color hues of purple out in the light, and they
measure approximately 5.0" temple to temple to accommodate
a variety of face sizes and shapes. The interior of one ear stem
is marked CE, 1208/010 and Frame Italy, and both celluloid nose
pads are original and marked Revo. It's a great unisex style that
looks dashing on a man or a woman, a hard to find example of super

Beautiful
and super cool, Revo 1107 011 sunglasses combine the vertically
etched gunmetal pewter frame with the Revo stealth light blue lens
in a style slightly smaller than comparable Revo 1126 sunglasses
sometimes also offered for sale here at the Vintage Sunglasses Shop.
We love the crisp vertical etching and the pewter color of the frame,
and we don't think any lens color goes better with the etched gunmetal
frame than the highly reflective light blue stealth lens. You'll
see plenty of purple and red hues reflecting off these stealth mirror
lenses in direct sunlight. The frame etching extends the length
of both ear stems and across the nose bridge, and the raised Revo
logo near the spring loaded hinges looks very cool set against the
vertical etching. The inside of the ear stem is marked CE 1107/011
Frame Japan, and these vintage Revos also retain the original marked
Revo celluloid nose pads. The unisex frame measures approximately
5.0" temple to temple with rectangular lenses rounded at the
edges measuring 1.675" x 1.25" at the widest points. The
size is unisex, perfect for smaller face sizes or trending to a
John Lennon sunglasses look on larger face sizes. The stealth and
pewter is a great combination, one of the most recognizable of all

Rare
to find at all much less in good condition, we are pleased to offer
once again the Carrera Porsche Design 5622 folding sunglasses and
matching zippered case. No larger than 3.0" x 2.5" when
folded, it's easy to see why the Carrera 5622 sunglasses are such
a marvel of Austrian and German engineering and so popular in the
marke. They're so small and convenient when folded you can take
them with you anywhere in anything....even your pocket. When you
take them out of your pocket, try to do it in a crowd and watch
faces as you slowly unfold them to their full size shape. These
vintage Carrera sunglasses fold at the front center in half, each
ear stem is hinged near the ear pad and folds down, and then both
ear stems fold inward. The result is a very small package that is
nevertheless as sturdy and elegant as any regular sunglasses you'll
ever find. We love the shape of the 5622 style as well as the contrast
between the gold plated Austrian frame and the amber / brown Carrera
Porsche Design lens. Clean and elegant lines and readily identifiable
quality, Carrera Porsche Design 5622 sunglasses are sure to be a
conversation piece both for their style and their engineering. The
Austrian frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple,
and the lens measures approximately 2.25" x 2.25" at the
widest points. The left lens is inscribed with the Porsche Design
logo, the inside of one ear stem is marked Carrera Porsche Design,
and the inside of the other ear stem is marked Made in Austria 5622

Hard
to find, these rare polished Oakley Juliet sunglasses feature the
amazing Oakley G 30 Ice Iridium lenses with super cool X Metal frames
that are virtually unbreakable and feature a flexible skeleton.
The G 30 lenses are probably the best all around lenses Oakley makes,
using Oakley's HDO technology for superior optics and impact protection.
Iridium is probably the most popular lens color Oakley makes, a
blue moderately mirrored lens with hues of purple and red blending
out to the edges, and all the Oakley blogs note how superb this
lens is for style and performance. The X metal frame is made of
an advanced metal alloy to provide an optimum strength to weight
ratio while the Iridium coating and lens tinting help reflect glare
and heighten visual contrast. As such, the Oakley Iridium Ice lens
and X Metal frame is a particular favorite of skiers and snowboarders
worldwide as well as practitioners of other action sports. There's
a lot to love in this design beyond the highest quality materials
and lens, most notably the uniquely curved ear stems and dramatic,
futuristic shape of the sunglasses. While frankly we often have
mixed feelings in general about Oakley sunglasses, there is little
question that vintage styles and the X Metal frames are by far the
most desired and command retail prices higher than any other Oakley
style. The X Metal Oakley frame measures approximately 5.5"
temple to temple in an extreme wrap design, and each Ice Iridium
lens measures approximately 2.0" x 1.0" at the widest
point. The oval rubber inserts on the inside of each hinge point
is marked 15, the inside of one black ear pad is marked CE, and
the outside of the other ear pad is marked Made in USA. The stylized
Oakley "O" logo is impressed in the metal of each ear
stem near the hinges. Of all the models and colors Oakley ever made,
this is the unanimous favorite of everyone here at the Collectics
Vintage Sunglasses Shop. As an added plus, this pair of Oakley Iridium
Ice X Metal sunglasses includes an original brushed metal Oakley
Juliet store display stand (you have to admit there's quite an architectural

you like eye catching style yet classic elegance, you will appreciate
the design and quality of Revo 970 011 sunglasses that combine a
brushed and etched pewter frame with Revo's most desirable stealth
mirrored lens. Over the years, most every person here at the Vintage
Sunglasses Shop has worn this model as their personal favorite,
and it's easy to see why. Cool design features include the slightly
flared at the temple frame shape wider over the tops of the lenses
than at the bottom, the brushed gunmetal pewter surface, subtle
etching at each temple, and the impressed in the metal Revo logo

Giorgio Armani vintage model 659 962 wrap sunglasses pre-date the
proliferation of wrap designs by Oakley and others, and these incorporate
one of the best design flourishes in vintage sunglasses with these
uniquely shaped and curved ear bars. From the front, they form a
sleek and elegant look with the green Armani UV protected glass
lens, marked GA impressed in the glass at the hinge points, wrapping
subtly around the face and eyes. However, it's really on the sides
where these vintage Aramani sunglasses shine so to speak. Each ear
stem is a twisting bar of metal, Giorgio Armani logo etched into

Bausch & Lomb Ray-Ban pearlized Marcellina women's cat's eye
sunglasses c 1950s - 1960s combine the lovely and shimmering pearl
color with vintage green glass lenses for a great, cat-like effect
that is guaranteed to make you purr! The elongated frame shape really
accents the cat eye lenses, not completely mirroring the shape of
the lens and thus adding some additional design interest. The pearl
frames look like they could glow in the dark, and metal studs at
the 2 front corners add a final design flourish. One of the ear
stems is marked B+L Ray-Ban USA impressed in the frame, and the
other ear stem is marked Marcellina impressed in the frame. The
lens are really long and chic, measuring approximately 2.0"
x 1.125" at the widest points. These vintage Ray-Ban Marcellina

It's
hard to beat the style and look of brushed gold with purple and
black, and nobody does it better than Revo with these vintage Revo
1109 010 sunglasses. Revo does a really nice brushed gold that has
black highlights, and when combined with black ear stems as with
the 1109/010 style it really makes a striking and positive difference.
We also like the lens shape in the Revo 1109 series, a unique Revo
interpretation on aviator sunglasses with double nose bridge bars
but a unique frame shape and style. The lenses measure approximately
1.875" x 1.5" at the widest points, and while they appear
amber in low light condition they pick up brilliant hues of purple
in direct sunlight. Aside from looking cool, that feature and color
combination makes them easy to keep on indoors should you so desire,
with amber a good indoor lens color but the purple and reflective
qualities of the lens protect your eyes outdoors. The frame measures
approximately 5.25" temple to temple making these a good unisex
style for men and women. The Revo logo is embossed in gold on each
black ear stem, the inside of the ear stem is marked CE 1109/010
