The classic Precious Metals Outdoorsman style features two-tone plating of precious metals to accentuate your eyes in a new and exciting way. The Bausch & Lomb Changeables photochromatic lenses enhance optical quality along with glare and UV protection, changing color in varying light conditions to optimize performance. The photochromatic properties of Changeables lenses are infused into the mineral glass lenses and are not a coating that can wear off or wear out. The deep groove of the Precious Metals line also provides the most secure fit for the lenses in the frame, and each frame is marked with a unique serial number exclusive to the Ray-Ban Precious Metals line. Ray-Ban W0553 Outdoorsman Arista White sunglasses combine 24k yellow gold and titanium along with a black "General" brow bar and ear pads in the classic Ray-Ban aviator style. The unisex Ray-Ban W0553 Precious Metals frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple with 58mm lenses measuring approximately 2.125" x 1.875" at the widest points. You'll find the Ray-Ban logo in raised metal relief gold plated on the right lens, and both lenses are laser etched BL near the hinges plus one ear pad has the distinctive BL mark unique to the Precious Metals line. The top of the nose bridge is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA along with the unique Precious Metals serial number, new old stock in mint, unworn condition and originally part of the collection of a well known corporate CEO and long time customer of the Vintage Sunglasses Shop.
