Ray-Ban W1515 Folding Wayfarer II Diamond Hard Sunglasses
Vintage and rare Ray-Ban W1515 folding Wayfarer II Diamond Hard sunglasses are hard to beat on any front - great engineering with the amazing folding Wayfarer system, Bausch & Lomb Diamond Hard lenses, and a great matte black Wayfarer frame. B&L Diamond Hard lenses feature a scratch-protection system which creates a lens surface of amorphous diamond that is 10 times more resistant to scratching than ordinary glass. This surface also sheds water, reducing water spotting and making the lens easier to clean. The diamond surface is permanently bonded to the lens via an ion beam process, originally developed by NASA, and we think its gold mirror surface looks great with the matte black Wayfarer II frame. They fold up via nose bridge and ear stem hinges into a package about the size of a single lens, easily fitting in your shirt pocket. You'll find the Ray-Ban logo in raised metal relief on both ear stems, and the inside of one stem is marked B&L Ray-Ban Frame France and the other stem is marked Folding Wayfarer II. The unisex Ray-Ban W1515 Wayfarer II folding frame measures approximately 5.675" temple to temple with Diamond Hard lenses measuring 2.125" x 1.675" at the widest points with right lens laser etched Ray-Ban along with the diamond trademark and both lenses laser etched BL near the hinges.
