Serengeti 5569 Signia Sunglasses

Vintage Serengeti 5569 Signia sunglasses were one of the earliest Serengeti sunglasses styles to use a matte composite frame, and the 5569 Signia was produced when most Serengeti sunglasses were still made in Italy and the lenses made by Corning Optics. The matte black composite frame is lightweight to make them comfortable to wear yet very durable, and the frame is reminiscent of Ray-Ban Wayfarers but slightly smaller and more curvaceous. The frame is a great unisex size at approximately 5.25" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.125" x 1.375" at the widest points. You'll find the stylized Signia logo on the exterior of both ear stems near the hinges, and the inside of one stem is marked Serengeti 5569 C while the other stem is marked CE Frame Italy impressed on the ear pad. Authentic new old stock Serengeti 5569 Signia sunglasses in unworn mint condition.
