Ray-Ban 12k GF 58mm Double Gradient Mirror Aviator Sunglasses

1 Rare and early vintage B&L Ray-Ban 12k gold filled 58mm Double Gradient Mirror aviator sunglasses c 1950s have regular paddle ear stems to make them easy to take on and off and the amazing Bausch & Lomb 58mm DGM aviator lenses for a look and optical quality that's unequaled. The highly reflective double gradient mirror lenses are silver mirror at the top and bottom with the darker line of gradient passing horizontally across the center of the lenses. The 58mm DGM lenses measure approximately 2.125" x 1.75" at the widest points, and the frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple to make this a good size for men and women. The top of the nose bridge is marked Ray-Ban (which indicates very early production preceeding the later use of B&L Ray-Ban USA) and the bottom of the bridge is marked B&L 1/10 12k GF all impressed in the metal. They even retain the original bakelite nose pads, part of a New Orleans, LA estate collection of rare vintage Ray-Bans.

4 Save big on B&L Ray-Ban 58mm double gradient mirror aviators that fell just short of our unequaled vintage condition standards for a main listing on the site. There is a small nick in the mirrored finish in the far upper corner of the right lens and a small area of inner coating loss right along the lower rim of the same lens. Neither of these flaws is in the field of vision for the wearer, and they're still in great shape for rare B&L Ray-Ban DGM aviator sunglasses c mid 1960s / mid 1970s.

Item VS540-4 / Price: $285.00
