1 Vintage Revo 840 001 Grand Sixties orange mirror sunglasses have the shape of classic Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses but with that Revo flair made possible by the matte black composite frame and of course the Revo orange mirrored lenses. The combination of black and orange is popular in sports, fashion, and as you can see works great for sunglasses also, and this is a durable, high performance frame with the unequalled performance of Revo mirrored optical glass lenses using technology pioneered by the NASA space program. Of all Revo mirrored lens colors, orange is right up there with the rarest and hardest to find, and there is more correlation between the orange mirrored lenses and those used by astronauts in the space program than with any other Revo color. Another feature we like are the hidden hose pads, imbedded in the frame to maintain a clean profile and look. These unisex Revo 840 001 sunglasses measure approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.125" x 1.675" at the widest points. You'll find the Revo logo embossed on the exterior of the matte black ear stem, and on some production the inside of one stem is marked 840/001 Frame Italy. Generally considered to be one of the best of the early Revos of the 1980s.
