Very early vintage Bausch & Lomb 12k gold filled Clubmaster Rounds sunglasses c 1950s have a look that's still pretty cool in the 21st century. The top accent pattern is reminiscent of snakeskin and extends down the 2 12k gold plated ear stems, and the nose bridge is etched for some added design flair. The B&L Clubmaster Rounds are the earliest version of the iconic Ray-Ban Clubmaster and measure approximately 5.0" temple to temple with lenses that measure approximately 1.675" x 1.375" at the widest points. These early B&L 12k gold filled Clubmaster Rounds unglasses pre-date the Ray-Ban brand introduction and are marked on the inside of both ear stems Bausch & Lomb 5 1/2, and the rear of the nose bridge is impressed B&L 1/10 12k GF 20-44. Rare.
