Serengeti 5235 Vermilion 7000SS Sunglasses
1 Vintage Serengeti 5235 Vermilion sunglasses are reminiscent of vintage Revo Venture Aviator sunglasses with a matte black composite frame, but while the frame might be similar the real stars of the show are the Corning Optics Vermilion 7000SS double gradient mirror lenses. Serengeti Vermilion lenses were made in only very small quantities by Corning Optics of Corning glass fame wherein silver mirror exterior coatings are applied to a rose colored base lens with rich blue - purple anti-glare coatings on the rear. The unisex Serengeti 5235 frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.375" x 2.125" at the widest points. The inside of one stem is marked Serengeti Eyewear 5235L while the inside of the other stem is marked Corning Optics and one ear pad is impressed Frame Hong Kong, part of the collection of a well known TV and movie industry figure and long time customer of the Vintage Sunglasses Shop.

3 Vintage Serengeti 5235 Vermilion Rose sunglasses are identical in size, shape, and appearance except here you get the very hard to find Vermilion Rose lenses. The inside of one ear stem is marked Serengeti Vermilion KN 5235 and one ear pad is marked Frame Hong Kong CE.
