1 Vintage Gianni Versace Mod S33 Col 07M sunglasses are one of the finest and rarest examples of Versace sunglasses ever made c early to mid 1990s. Everything about the Versace Model S33 exudes the finest Italian sunglasses quality, from the unique 24k gold plated link chain ear stems, gold link nose bridge, and the Versace trademark gold Medusa head that decorates both ear stems. Note the thin band of tortoise shell that frames the front lenses, a distinctive design feature of the 07M variation. Versace production records indicate that these model S33 gold plated sunglasses were produced just before the assassination of Gianni Versace in 1997 as he was walking back to his Miami Beach mansion from Ocean Drive. The original rare Versace S33 Medusa Head was thus one of the last examples of Versace sunglass design conceived by the founder of the Versace fashion house, much more finely crafted than modern Versace sunglasses of today. The unisex Versace S33 frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.125" x 1.5" at the widest points.. You'll find the intricately detailed Versace Medusa head logo on the exterior of both ear stems, and the inside of one ear pad is marked Versace Made in Italy while the inside of the other stem is marked CE Mod S33 Col 07M.
