1 Vintage Carrera Porsche Design 5622 42 folding sunglasses are a low production variation of iconic Carrera Porsche Design 5622 sunglasses, combining silver and gold together in the frame versus one or the other as is the typical PD configuration. Note the silver to gold transition and contrast at both the nose bridge and the hinges! Porsche Design 5622 sunglasses are an icon of modern sunglasses design and quite an engineering marvel, folding up to a size not much larger than a single lens. The unisex Porsche Carrera 5622 frame measures approximately 5.375" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.75" x 2.125" at the widest points with left lens laser etched Porsche Design. The inside of one stem is marked Carrera Porsche Design along with the PD logo while the inside of the other stem is marked 5622 44 Made in W Germany along with the unique Carrera serial number.
