These feature an all gold frame with center
hinge that raises to allow the interchangeable
lenses to be slotted into prongs on the
frame and then clamped down to hold them
in place. This allows you to select either
of the 2 sets of interchangeable Porsche
Design lenses which in these sunglasses
include the brown gradient lenses that
will change color and darken in varying
light conditions as well as a darker smoke
gray lens that's perfect for bright sunlight.
The spare lenses are stored in a felt pouch
in the original black hard sided Carrera
Porsche Design case, and these have a moderately
oversized look that both men and women enjoy
wearing. The frame measures approximately
5.5" temple to temple, and the teardrop
shaped optyl lenses measure approximately
2.875" x 2.25" at the widest points.
The inside of one ear stem is marked Porsche
Design by Carrera along with the US patent
number impressed in the ear pad, and the
inside of the other ear stem is marked with
a patent number impressed in the metal along
with Made in Austria 5621 46 135.
