1 Vintage Oakley Juliet sunglasses feature the revolutionary Oakley X Metal frame combined with highly reflective Ruby Iridium lenses, an icon of 20th century sunglass design and the choice of athletes and celebrities around the world since their introduction in the 1990s. This frame and lens combination has a more rugged look than polished versions of the Juliet and Penny, a favorite of Michael Jordan as seen in photographs dating to the late 1990s. Menacing yet stylish, the Oakley Juliet is an icon of modern sunglasses design with a subtle wrap design that contours closely to the face to improve eye and glare protection, and the revolutionary creation of X Metal used in vintage Oakley Juliets and Pennys was an ultra-lightweight titanium alloy resulting in an entirely new frame design. Oakley’s fully adaptable architecture uses compressible couplers at the nose bridge to achieve flexibility, making these lines the first 3-D sculptured all-metal frames on earth. The unisex Oakley Juliet X Metal frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the Ruby Iridium lenses measure approximately 2.125" x 1.25" at the widest points. You'll find the O logo integrated into the design on the exterior of both ear stems, and the inside of one stem is marked with the unique Oakley serial number while one ear pad is marked Made in USA and the other pad is marked CE.
