Like all Carrera Porsche Design 5621 and 5623 sunglasses, the gold and titanium silver 5621 72 frame has a center hinge that raises to allow the interchangeable lenses to be swapped out and inserted into prongs on the frame. Then, the hinge clamps down to hold the lenses in place. This was a real innovation in sunglasses design which along with the use of advanced optyl plastic in the lenses permitted the oversized look of vintage Carrera sunglasses. The frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple with blue gradient and smoke gray lenses measuring approximately 2.675" x 2.25" at the widest points. The inside of one ear stem is marked Carrera Porsche Design along with the PD logo, while the inside of the other stem is marked with the serial number along with Made in Austria 5621 72.
