1 Vintage Ray-Ban CATS 3000 sunglasses feature a gloss black Wayfarer style frame, but the real stars of the show are the B&L Ray-Ban gold mirror Diamond Hard lenses. The amazing Bausch & Lomb Diamond Hard
lenses are noted by both the Ray-Ban logo and a diamond etched in
the glass of the lens and are virtually scratch proof. The Diamond Hard scratch protection system creates a lens surface of amorphous diamond that is ten times more resistant to scratching than ordinary glass and also sheds water, reducing water spotting and making the lens easier to clean. The diamond surface is permanently bonded to the lens via an ion beam process originally developed by the NASA space program. The unisex Ray-Ban CATS 3000 frame measures approximately 5.675" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 2.125" x 1.675" at the widest points with right lens laser etched Ray-Ban along with the diamond trademark and both lenses laser etched BL near the hinges. You'll find the Ray-Ban logo embossed on the exterior of both ear stems, and the inside of one ear stem is marked Bausch & Lomb Frame France and impressed S.G.D.G Depose and the other stem is impressed France along with the French crown trademark.
