Ray-Ban W1212 Wayfarer Limited Edition Sunglasses
1 Vintage Ray-Ban W1212 Wayfarer Limited Edition sunglasses features the rare yellow tortoise shell mosaic front frame coupled with gloss black ear stems and the distinctive gold plated Ray-Ban logo on the stems that's a highlight of these Limited Edition Wayfarers. Look closely at the tortoise mosaic pattern of the front frame and you'll note the many different colors that come together to create the pattern and the translucence that really makes them shimmer out in the sunlight. The black ear stems are the perfect complement for the mosaic front frame, and green Bausch & Lomb Ray-Ban RB-3 lenses round out the look. The unisex Ray-Ban W1212 Wayfarer frame measures approximately 5.675" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 1.875" x 1.5" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched BL near the hinges. You'll find the Ray-Ban logo on the Limited Edition gold tab on the exterior of both ear stems, and the inside of one stem is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA while the inside of the other stem is impressed Wayfarer and on later production one ear pad is impressed W1212 XNAW CE. The rear of the right lens is also impressed B&L 5022 to indicate the original production of the Ray-Ban Wayfarer, part of a collection of fine vintage Ray-Bans from a well known sports figure and customer of the Vintage Sunglasses Shop.
