Perhaps
the singlest rarest Revo design ever produced, it is impossible
to resist the eye catching style of the Revo 962 053 sunglasses
with gold mirrored lens and tortoise shell ear stems. Revo uses
a brushed gold metal with black highlights in this design on the
front of the frame to hold the lens, and the brushed gold perfectly
reflects and complements the highly reflective oval gold mirror
lens of the 962 sunglasses design. Once you're around the corner
of the temple, the tortoise shell also picks up hues of orange the
similarly complement the gold mirrored lens to make this one of
the best designs Revo ever produced. The gold mirror lens is highly
reflective, great for sunlight and UV protection without the downsides
of polarization (polarization has its positives too- read about
the tradeoffs on our polarized versus non-polarized sunglasses information
page). Best of all, the gold mirror looks super cool. These are
perfect as men's or women's sunglasses, with frame measuring approximately
5.0" temple to temple and lens measuring 1.875" x 1.75"
at the widest points. The Revo logo is embossed on the exterior
of both tortoise shell ear stems near the hinge points, and the
inside of the ear stem is marked CE 962/053 Frame Japan. Revo 962
053 sunglasses are almost impossible to find in any condition, so

If
you're like us and like the combination of tortoise shell frames
with Revo blue mirrored H20 polarized lens, then vintage Revo 1005
008 sunglasses will surely attract your interest. Not many Revo
1005 sunglasses were made, so when we're fortunate enough to have
a pair for sale they don't last long on the site. It's really a
striking, eye catching design, and the French frame is an excellent
size for men's or women's sunglasses measuring approximately 5.0"
temple to temple. The oval lenses measure 1.875" x 1.75"
at the widest points, and the left lens is marked H20 to indicate
this is a polarized lens. The Revo logo is embossed on the outside
of each ear stem near the spring loaded hinge points, and the inside
of the ear stem is marked 1005/008 CE Frame France. Very hard to
find, these Revo 1005 008 sunglasses were part of a Malibu, CA estate
collection of top designer sunglasses sold exclusively through the
Vintage Sunglasses Shop.

If
you like the look of smaller size sunglasses that can be worn by
men or women, it's hard to do better than the vintage Revo 1105
001 Italian design that combines an matte black frame with Revo's
blue mirrored lens surrounded by a thin band of yellow tortoise
shell. The blue mirrored lens of these sunglasses pick up plenty
of hues of purple in the sunlight, and it's impossible to ignore
the effect when you see them - sure to generate questions and compliments
for the wearer. Each spring loaded hinge point at the corner of
the temples has an etched design in the metal for added design flair,
and the Revo logo is raised in the metal of both ear stems near
the hinge points. The ear pads a glossier black, complementing the
matte black metal frame and effectively completing the design. The
frame measures approximately 4.75" temple to temple, and each
lens measures approximately 1.5" x 1.5" at the widest
points. You'll love the combination of tortoise, matte black metal
frame, and the Revo blue mirrored lens that combine to make this
one of Revo's most distinctive designs. The inside of the ear stem
is marked 1105/001 Frame Italy, and these 1105 sunglasses also retain
the original marked Revo celluloid nose pads. It's a great design,

etched black metal frame and rectangular green Revo lens. If you
like elegant fashion accessories, you'll like the Revo 1206 because
the shape and lens are classic but the elegance really comes through
in the intricate etching of the frame at the front temples and all
the way down the two ear bars. The Revo logo is inscribed in the
metal of each ear stem near the hinge points, well integrated into
the etched design. The inside of the ear stem is marked CE 1206/001
Frame Japan, and the 2 celluloid nose pads are also original and
marked Revo. The lens measure approximately 1.75" x 1.5"

fine example of rare Revo 1112 011 sunglasses carry on the 1112
model line form but with the desirable Revo stealth mirrored lens
and black ear stems with gold Revo embossed logo. Put it all together
and it's an elegant look, classy and yet sure to get noticed!
The light blue stealth mirror lens is one of the most popular
out of a pantheon of great Revo lenses, and we think nothing looks
better with it than brushed metal nose bridge and hinges and black
ear stems. The frame measures approximately 5.0" temple to
temple to make it perfect as a unisex style, and the lens measure
1.75" x 1.25" at the widest points. The Revo logo is
embossed on each ear stem near the spring loaded hinges, and the
inside of the ear stem is marked CE 1112/011 (2 of the numbers
have faded but this is the full style #) and Frame Italy. These
vintage Revo 1112 011 sunglasses also retain the original and
marked Revo celluloid nose pads, part of a major purchase from
an Austin, TX estate.

2. Sometimes we
receive from an estate collection a great pair of rare vintage
sunglasses that just don't quite live up to our condition standards
but are too good to pass up. Of course, we are also able to pass
substantial cost savings on to you. These vintage and rare Revo
1112 011 sunglasses are 100% authentic and identical to the ones
above and shown in the photos, but they have a few very light
lens rub marks on the mirror finish that kept them from a main
listing on the site. We could see them when looking closely and
angled under a light source, but they were not visible when worn
out in the sunlight which of course is the primary reason you
buy sunglasses. The few light scuffs disqualified them from a
primary listing on the site, but we're pleased to offer them to

the design and quality of Revo 953 008 sunglasses that combine a
super cool tortoise shell front frame, antique gold ear stems, and
very rare Revo orange mirrored lens. Over the years, most every
person here at the Vintage Sunglasses Shop has worn this model as
their personal favorite, and it's easy to see why. Cool design features
include the slightly flared at the temple frame shape, the etched
gold hinges at each temple, and the impressed in the metal Revo
logo on each ear stem near the hinge points. It's hard to beat the
look of tortoise shell and Revo's highly reflective orange mirrored
lenses which incorporate optical lens technology originally developed
by a NASA engineer for the U.S. space program. Men and women here

a style that created a frenzy at our last public show, we are glad
to once again offer a pair of vintage Revo 3046 001 sunglasses with
blue mirrored Revo P H20 lenses. If you like Oakley sunglasses but
find the style a little too extreme, check out the more subtle wrap
and classic style of the Revo 3046 sunglasses. The sleek, streamlined
design looks like it's so aerodynamic that it will help you fun
faster and jump farther, and of course the Revo P H20 lens technology
provides the best possible infrared and UV protection for your eyes.
The black metal frame and integrated black ear pads make them look
particularly striking when combined with the highly reflective blue
mirror lenses, one of which is marked Revo P and the other marked
H20. The frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple
for a good unisex size, the the elongated Revo lens measure approximately
2.25" x 1.25" at the widest points. The Revo logo is inscribed

is a very streamlined design that looks to us like a modern interpretation

Like
a variation on a good theme, Revo did several combinations of this
style of frame and lens combination, but for us none looks better
than the brushed silver and highly reflective blue mirrored lens
which are featured on these Revo 1101 011 sunglasses. We love how
Revo uses the metal only at the top of these lenses in a design
flared a bit at the temple, and the lenses themselves are secured
with a screw closure and metal band that hides behind the top of
the frame to make it invisible. The blue mirrored lens is set in
a thin band of metal down the sides and across the bottom, while
the top of the frame forms a top horizontal bar for the lenses -
the thick and thin contrast catches the eye - that looks great with
the brushed metal look. The frame measures approximately 5.5"
temple to temple, and each uniquely shaped elongated lens measures
approximately 2.0" x 1.5" at the widest points. The Revo
logo is impressed in the metal of each ear stem near the spring
loaded hinge points plus they retain the original marked Revo celluloid
nose pads, and the inside of the ear stem is maked 1101/011 Frame
Italy CE.

Revo
1110 sunglasses are always hard to find and in high demand, with
styling that is almost identical to Revo 962 sunglasses but with
a more rounded lens shape. These Revo 1110 010 sunglasses feature
black ear stems and the Revo mirrored purple lens that picks up
increasing amounts of purple depending on the sunlight. The black
and purple is one of our favorite color combinations, and you can't
beat the shape of the Revo 1110 sunglass style. These are great
sunglasses for both men and women, measuring 5.0" temple to
temple with lens that measure approximately 1.5" x 1.75"
at the widest points - round but not perfectly round. The purple
lens are framed by a brushed antique gold metal used in the frame
and hinges, and the black ear stems are both marked Revo on the
exterior near the hinge points. The inside of the ear stem is marked
CE 1110/010 Frame Japan, and they also retain the original and marked
Revo celluloid nose pads.

1130 010 sunglasses with oval amber lens and tortoise shell ear
stems. It's a simple yet elegant look given a little flash by the
elongated oval shape of the lenses and the always desirable tortoise
ear stems. These are perfect as men's or women's vintage sunglasses
with a frame that measures 5.0" temple to temple and lens measuring
1.75" x 1.25" at the widest points. Both ear stems are
marked Revo near the hinge points although the gold highlights used
to bring them out a little more has faded a bit with age (this can
be touched up with a precision artist brush but we choose not to

Totally
top of the line and over the top in design, Revo's elaborate take
on vintage aviator sunglasses is a smashing success. Rare vintage
Revo 990 010 sunglasses stand out in so many ways starting with
the silvery gunmetal frame intricately etched at the temples and
across the nose bridge. They are designed with 2 nose bridge bars
as is common in aviators, but Revo designed their top bar to be
extremely thin and arched upward much more than in comparable Ray-Ban
aviator sunglasses. The brushed antique gold of the metal frame
is really eye catching, drawing your eye in to notice the elaborate
etching in the metal. The Revo logo is on each ear stem near the
hinge points integrated with the temple etching, and the inside
of the ear stem is marked CE 990/010 Frame Japan. The celluloid
nose pads are also all original and marked Revo, and tortoise ear
pads are a nice final touch of design flair. Very hard to find and
a unique and eclectic interpretation of the classic aviator sunglasses
style.

Vintage
Revo 3072 080 black mirror aviator sunglasses are a very popular
Revo interpretation of classic Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses. But these
are not your dad's Ray-Bans. In the Revo 3072 080, a smooth chrome
finish is featured around the lens and hinges and down the ear stems,
a perfect background for the raised Revo logo in black where the
letters are inset in the chrome metal. These aviators have a pretty
dramatic curve to them, a wrap sunglass design that will better
protect your eyes from wind, rain, and sunlight coming from the
sides. The ear stems are a nice matte black, but we think the most
important thing about the 3072 080 is the black mirrored Revo P
H20 polarized wrap lenses. These highly reflective black mirror
lens are marked on one lens Revo P and on the other lens H20 denoting
Revo's polarization technique. The nose pads are original and marked
Revo, the inside of one stem is marked Revo Made in Italy CE Polarized,
and the inside of the other stem is marked 3072 080/J7 61 [] 15
125 3P. These are sunglasses for a man or a woman, measuring approximately
5.25" temple to temple and lens measuring approximately 2.25"
x 2.0" at the widest points.

we fell the Revo 3003 001 H20 sunglasses stand out for both design
and quality in Revo's late 1990's production. The all metal frame
features black matte metal ear stems both embossed with the Revo

for a perfect color combination. The rectangular Revo blue mirrored
lens of these Revo 3003 sunglasses measures approximately 2.0"
x 1.25" at the widest points, and the right lens is marked
H20 to indicate Revo's advanced polarization technique. The frame
is suitable as men's or women's sunglasses and measures approximately
5.0" temple to temple. The inside of one ear stem is marked

in high demand and hard to find, these vintage Revo 3040 080 sunglasses
feature Revo P H20 highly reflective dark mirrored lenses and a
curved rectangular lens shape that looks great on a wide variety
of faces. A sleek chrome Italian frame is the perfect complement
to the polarized mirrored lenses, and the Revo logo is in an indentation
on both ear stems that is one of our favorite means of integrating
the Revo logo in the 3000 series designs. Revo 3040 sunglasses are
popular as both men's and women's sunglasses, measuring approximately

2.0" x 1.25" at the widest points. The right lens is marked

buy the best vintage designer sunglasses from estates around the
world, but we only see about 1 pair each year if that of Revo 1106
sunglasses with green mirrored lenses and tortoise shell ear stems.
These were a very low production line with not many ever made by
Revo, but those in the market command some of the highest prices
of any style of vintage sunglasses. The tortoise shell ear stems
on the 1106, always popular, are particularly rich in hues of deep
black to complement the brown tortoise shell, and nothing goes better
with that than Revo's green mirror lens. These oval green mirrored
lenses measure approximately 1.5" x 1.375" at the widest
points, a smaller size that's perfect for women or for men who like
the teashade, John Lennon style of sunglasses. The frame measures
approximately 4.75" temple to temple which is a good unisex
size, and the inside of the ear stem is marked 1106/001 Frame Italy
CE. The Revo logo is embossed in gold on each ear stem near the

Cool
Revo 1108 011 aviator style sunglasses have a subtle wrap design
and Revo's top of the line H20 stealth mirrored lenses combined
with a silver gunmetal frame. When Revo stealth mirror lens are
done in H20, they pick up additional hues of rose and purple colors
which make the highly reflective mirror properties of the lens even
more impressive. This is one of Revo's most popular styles of aviator
sunglasses, and the double nose bridge and top "General"
bar is reminiscent of classic Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses styles.
The frame is a good unisex size, measuring approximately 5.5"
temple to temple with lenses measuring approximately 2.125"

Revo 961 001 sunglasses combine a black metal frame with Revo's
highly reflective blue mirror lens in a loosely cat's eye style
that all goes together for a great look! The lenses on Revo 961
sunglasses have a very unique shape, mostly flat at the top and
curved downward in a symmetrical manner; that's a lens shape that
you just don't see on any other style of vintage sunglasses. We
love the black on blue mirror combination, and it's a nice unisex

than Revo 1211 036 sunglasses with Italian frame and Revo H20
lenses. As for those lenses, check out the unique shape of these
in the Revo 1211's, an unusual shape that would be very difficult
for an optical shop to replicate even today. The frame has plenty
of etching around the lenses and down each of the 2 spring loaded
ear stems, and we particularly like how the Revo logo is impressed
in the metal and integrated into the design of each stem. Tortoise
shell ear pads make a nice complement to the brushed and antique
gold metal frame which measures approximately 5.0" temple
to temple suitable as men's or women's sunglasses. The lenses

style (compare with the classic Ray-Ban Wayfarers) and have an incredible
