love the sleek, streamlined, Art Deco styling of vintage Revo 3010
089 sunglasses. The horizontal bands creating the sleek streamlined
effect on the ear stems are what really make these sunglasses stand
out. Fortunately, you also have the benefit of getting Revo P H20
lens as well. The frame shape is subtly curved to more closely follow
the contours of the face, helping to keep wind and sunlight out
and great for outdoor activities. These Revo 3010 089 62 measure
5.25" temple to temple and have blue mirrored H20 lens, highly
reflective and in which the blue mirror also picks up hues of red
and purple in the sunlight. It's a great look, unisex and perfect
as either men's or women's sunglasses. Or you can share. Anyway,
the Revo logo is impressed in the metal at the hinge points of each
ear stem, and the interior of one stem is marked Revo Made in Italy
CE Polarized LMS while the other stem is marked 3010 089/62 59 []

Rare
and vintage Revo 1110 001 sunglasses with blue mirrored lens set
in a black metal front frame and tortoise shell ear stems are almost
identical to Revo 962 001 sunglasses except for a slightly different
lens shape, and both styles bring some of the highest prices of
any vintage sunglasses regardless of make. The pictures speak for
themselves, and you can imagine how terrific these vintage Revo
1110 sunglasses look on any face - sure to get noticed even in a
big crowd. Trust us- several of our staff have experimented with
this at arts and music festivals while wearing one of our Ask Me
About Vintage Sunglasses shirts. Anyway, the blue mirror lens are
rounded and measure approximately 1.75" x 1.75" at the
widest points but are not perfectly round, and the frame measures
5.0" temple to temple making them great as men's or women's
sunglasses. The tortoise shell ear stems angle down and get wider
in the middle, then narrow as they approach the ear pads. Both ear
stems are marked on the exterior with the Revo logo near the hinge

Vintage
Revo sunglasses 860 001 with purple mirror lens are hard to find,
and they feature a black matte frame made in France that nicely
complements the highly reflective purple Revo lens. It's a companion
style to the 850 frame and lens combination with the only difference
being the thinner nose bridge and a gold tab Revo logo versus the
embossed Revo logo of these 860/001 sunglasses. It's a great look
whether you're lounging around the pool or dressed up to make a
statement at a big daytime event. The nose pads are imbedded in
the black matte French frame, so you get the comfort of a nice celluloid
nose pad that doesn't detract from the clean, retro lines of these
stylish vintage sunglasses. The French frames are made of a rigid
carbon fiber composite material, more rigid than plastic but a different
feel and look from metal. We particularly like the shape of the
860 Revo sunglasses, similar in style to Ray-Ban Wayfarers but more
streamlined and rounded for added design flair. The mirrored purple
lens measure approximately 2.0" x 1.875" at the widest
points, and the frame itself measures 5.25" temple to temple.
These vintage Revo sunglasses are marked on the inside of the ear
stem 860/001 along with Frame France, and they also have the embossed

If
you want a style of vintage Revos that are perfect for active outdoor
activity but basic black bores you and the extreme design of Oakleys
isn't for you, check out the very rare Revo 963 018 vintage sunglasses.
Per our understanding, very few of this style has ever been produced,
and trust us that it's very unique in general and unique for Revo
in particular. The frame is a very subtly mottled dark blue, but
you have to look closely or be out in the light to really pick up
the details. Needless to say, it looks fantastic when paired with
the blue mirrored lens, highly reflective and offering excellent
Revo optics and UV protection. The frame and lens are a nice size
that's large enough to be good for outdoor activity like boating,
with lens measuring approximately 2.125" x 1.75" at the
widest points and frame measuring 5.5" temple to temple. Both

our view one of the most elegant of all men's and women's sunglasses
styles, Giorgio Armani 633 832 tortoise shell sunglasses are unisex
in design and perfect for everything from casual to the most formal
of occasions. Aside from the very desirable tortoise shell style
of frame, we really like the contrast of the gold nose bridge and
the intricately etched gold hinges that add a lot of extra design
flair. The brown oval lens measure approximately 1.75" x 1.375"
at the widest points, both marked with the inscribed GA logo near

miss these vintage Revo 1126 011 sunglasses, with its standout feature
being the vertically and deeply etched silver gunmetal frame coupled
with Revo top of the line stealth mirrored lenses as the perfect

974 008 sunglasses. The pictures speak for themselves with this
model, with tortoise shell frame holding Revo amber & purple
lens that appear more brown in lower light conditions and turn
purple in direct sunlight for a super effect. We like how the
tortoise shell front of the frame transitions to brushed antique
gold ear stems with raised Revo logo on each stem near the hinge
points. Most of all, we like the intricate etching of the gold
hinges and nose bridge which is perhaps a subtle design feature
but one that we feel really makes the Revo 974 style stand out

pair of Revo 1109 011 pewter and stealth lens sunglasses. Uniquely
shaped in an elongated variation of the classic aviator style, Revo
combines their magnificent pewter Italian frame with the highly

that just can't be beat. We would like the style if the gunmetal
pewter continued on to the ear stems, but frankly we think the transition
to matte black ear stems with Revo logo near each hinge point is

Totally
top of the line and over the top in design, Revo's elaborate take
on vintage aviator sunglasses is a smashing success. Rare vintage
Revo 990 011 sunglasses stand out in so many ways starting with
the silvery gunmetal frame intricately etched at the temples and
across the nose bridge. They are designed with 2 nose bridge bars
as is common in aviators, but Revo designed their top bar to be
extremely thin and arched upward much more than in comparable Ray-Ban
aviator sunglasses. The brushed silver is really eye catching, drawing
your eye in to then notice the elaborate etching in the metal. The
Revo logo is on each ear stem near the hinge points integrated with
the temple etching, and the inside of the ear stem is marked CE
990/011 Frame Japan. The celluloid nose pads are also all original
and marked Revo. Very hard to find and a unique and eclectic interpretation

you find Oakley wrap designs too extreme and want the functionality
with a bit more elegance, check out the Revo 3047 096 vintage sunglasses
style offered here with Revo's top of the line stealth blue Revo
P H20 lens. Note the subtly curved shape of the frame's ear stems,
continuing the curve of the lens and wrapping back around the head.
It's a sleek chrome look, with the Revo logo embossed at each of
the 2 spring loaded hinge points. The stealth blue lens is highly
reflective, a light blue that picks up hues of red and purple in
the light. The lens are curved and measure approximately 2.25"
x 1.125" at the widest points, and one is marked Revo P and
the other is marked H20. One of the most stylish things about the
3047 design is the nose bridge, clean and sleek and quite different
from any other vintage Revo design. The inside of one ear stem is

3047 096/65 59 [] 16 125, the exterior of both ear stems is marked
Revo, and the nose pads are also original and marked Revo. This
design is perfectly suited to active sports and outdoor activity,
and the design really shields the entire eye to keep wind and dust
out. When paired with the top of the line Revo P H20 stealth lens,
this is an example of vintage sunglasses that you will use frequently
while answering the inevitable questions about where you got them.

Sufficiently
hard to find that we have only seen 3 pair since we went online,
it's pretty clear that not many Revo 1130 010 sunglasses were made
which is sad because this style is right at the top of any Revo
ever produced. We love the brushed gold frame with amber lens that
actively pick up hues of purple, but what's really unique about
Revo 1130 010 sunglasses are the red tortoise ear stems. Revo styles
such as the 962 and 1110 are already the most popular and expensive
of any Revo model ever produced, but for our money we think the
red variation (versus the more common orange and brown tortoise
ear stems) is even more striking. These are also great as either
men's or women's sunglasses, with Japanese frame measuring approximately
5.125" temple to temple with elongated oval lens measuring
1.875" x 1.25" at the widest points. The Revo logo is
embossed on both ear stems near the spring loaded hinge points,
and the inside of the ear stem is marked CE 1130/010 Frame Japan.
Low slung and sleek these Revo 1130 sunglasses are all original
right down to the original marked Revo celluloid nose pads. Rare.

Vintage
Revo 962 050 sunglasses were a very low production, i.e. rare variant
of the 962 model line, probably the single most popular style of
any vintage Revos. Frankly, we don't understand why a lot more weren't
made and sold, because the look of the 962/050 sunglasses is really
unparalleled. Who doesn't love the Revo highly reflective mirrored
stealth lens that picks up hues of purple and red combined with
jet black ear stems marked with the Revo logo in white on each side.
If you look closely, you'll notice how streamlined and interesting
the shape of the ear stems are on this model, but you just can't
do better as an eye catching frame and lens combination than the
962 with black ear stems and Revo mirrored stealth lens. Most everyone
here at the Vintage Sunglasses Shop has at least one pair of vintage
Revos with stealth lens, but when you see them on the Revo 962 frame
you know you've struck gold. The inside of the ear stem is marked
CE 962/050 Frame Japan, and the Revo logo is embossed on each ear
stem near the hinge points. These vintage Revo sunglasses have a
tiny blemish less than 0.1" on each len's mirrored finish,
probably due to some rubbing in a storage case over time; while
visible from the front if you look closely, they do not impair the
normal field of vision and are only noticeable when looking downward
in indoor light conditions. The frame measures approximately 5.25"
temple to temple making them - like all 962 models - a superb unisex
style for men and women, and the oval stealth lens measure approximately
1.875" x 1.75" at the widest points. Rare.

Super
cool Revo 965 010 sunglasses feature all the bells and whistles
that collectors, celebrities, and vintage fashion afficianados love.
The frame is a unique Revo variation on classic aviator sunglasses,
but they combine a thin tortoise shell rim that surrounds the lens
with brushed gold front frame and incredible faux tortoise shell
ear stems that have hues of red and orange that to be honest we
haven't seen before on vintage Revos. That being said, there is
no doubt these are the real thing and use the very desirable Revo
amber lens that looks purple in direct sunlight. It's the best of
both worlds for low light and bright light conditions, which explains
why the amber / purple Revo lens has always been among their most
popular. The brushed gold finish of the front frame continues around
the spring loaded hinges where you find the Revo logo impressed
in the metal of each ear stem just before the transition is made
to the tortoise shell finish. The contrast between the brushed gold,
reddish tortoise shell, and amber & purple lens is quite striking,
sure to generate questions and compliments whenever you wear them.
They retain their original marked Revo celluloid nose pads, and
the inside of the ear stem is marked CE 965/010 Frame Japan.

aviator sunglasses in gunmetal silver, we think you'll definitely
love seldom seen Revo 987 010 sunglasses. It's just a great look,
with antique gold frame that has numerous bronze highlights and
intricately etched temples that continue around the corner to the
raised Revo logo on each ear stem. These are designed to get attention,
combining the etched antique gold frame with uniquely shaped Revo
green lens and dramatically curved red tortoise ear pads. It all
makes for a very streamlined look that will perhaps attract even

A unique and eclectic Revo interpretation of classic aviator sunglasses,
Revo 1109 style combines the double nose bridge of aviator sunglasses
but much more widely spaced, and you just can't beat the combination
of the Revo blue mirrored lens and tortoise shell ear stems that
grace this vintage Japanese production Revo frame. The front of
the frame is black metal and is meant not to detract from the blue
mirror and tortoise, and it measures approximately 5.25" temple
to temple. The Revo blue mirrored lens are of course one of its
most popular of all time, and these are a rather unique shape and
measure approximately 2.0" x 1.5" at the widest points.

produced a lot of unique styles of sunglasses in the 1980s and 1990s,
but we think Revo 1401 037 sunglasses were among the most unique
designs of all. We don't see this rare, small production style very
often, and everyone here at the Vintage Sunglasses Shop found the
combination of the intricately etched gunmetal silver frame with
Revo brown lens a striking combination. The etching in the metal
is ridged around the lenses and incorporates a design at the temples
and on down to the end of the ear stems. Rounded - but not perfectly

the 1416 Italian frame with highly sought after Revo amber and purple

Revo 1211 001 sunglasses are very hard to find and feature a black
etched Italian frame combined with cool green Revo lens. The Revo
1211 style is best known for the unique shape of the lens, an elongated
oval in shape but with a larger and elongated bottom curve that
complements the more subtly curved top. It's a really unique shape
and overall just an eye catching style with the black on green combination.
There is etching that goes down each ear stem along, around the
lens, and across the center nose bridge for some added design flair.
That being said, it's not an ostentatious look because extravagance
would clash with the green Revo lens to which the eye is naturally
drawn. The Revo green lens is moderately reflective and measures
1.75" x 1.5" at the widest points, and the frame measures
5.125" temple to temple so well suited as men's or women's
vintage sunglasses. The Revo logo is impressed in the black metal
at each hinge point, and the ear stem is marked CE 1211/001 Frame
Italy. These vintage Revo sunglasses have spring loaded hinges,
original celluloid nose pads marked Revo, and cool burgundy colored
ear pads that go great with the black Italian frame.
