It's
not easy to find the Revo H20 polarized Photo lens, so we were happy
to find these vintage Revo 3022 093/ Y1 sunglasses with amber lens
and Italian made copper frame. You will note from the photos that
these Revos have a subtle wrap to the design, curving gently around
the face but not as extreme as Oakley and modern wrap style sunglasses.
We really like the color combination of the 3022 copper frame with
Revo H20 Photo amber lens, and the frame style makes them suitable
for a variety of activities including active, fast moving sports
where you need a style that more closely hugs the face. The right
lens is marked H20 Photo etched in the glass, and the inscribed
Revo logo is on each ear stem near the spring loaded hinge points.
One ear stem is marked Revo, Made in Italy, CE Polarized PHOTOCH,
and the other ear stem is marked 3022 093/Y1 61 []18 125. The slightly
brown H20 photo lens measure approximately 2.25" x 1.25"
at the widest points in a nicely elongated yet curved and wrapped
shape, and the frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to

Stylish
and elegant, the Revo 3009 086/61 Italian frame features a thin
tortoise front frame holding Revo top of the line H2O polarized
brown lens. From the side, the tortoise shell ear stems and brass
hinges at the temples really give these vintage Revo sunglasses
an understated yet eye catching fashion look. It's a perfect unisex
size with lens measuring approximately 2.0" x 1.375" at
the widest points and frame measuring approximately 5.25" temple
to temple. There's not much more to say about the look as the pictures
convey the sophisticated style pretty well, and they would make
a great gift if you can't use them yourself. The Revo lens is marked

Revo 1402 010 sunglasses feature a great shape with a brushed gold
metal frame and uniquely shaped Revo amber lens that combined make
for a super retro look that's cool and elegant. The brushed gold
metal frame features the Revo logo impressed in the metal at each
hinge point on the ear bars which are intricately etched all the
way down to make a real fashion statement. We particularly like
the way Revo made some of their vintage frames to extend out a small
distance from the end of the lens, with the lens itself diving down
from that point to enter into its gentle curve around the bottom
and back up to the other side. The etching and the brushed metal
are a stylish combination, making these perfect to wear at both
casual and more formal occasions. In addition to the Revo logo on
the ear bars and original nose pads, the interior of the ear bar
is marked 1402/010 Frame Japan. The lens measures approximately

Revo 840 001 sunglasses are in the Wayfarer style but feature the

3005 084 S62 sunglasses are one of the best sports sunglasses you'll
find, combining gray high endurance plastic ear stems that provide
a unique color contrast with the Revo blue H20 mirrored rectangular
lens in a silver metal frame. It's a great look ready for high performance
and visual acuity from the Revo top of the line H20 polarized lens,
and the frame's subtle wrap around the face helps to protect the
side of the eyes from excess wind and sunlight. The style works
great as men's or women's sunglasses, and these are well marked

Vintage
Revo 1211 001 sunglasses are very hard to find and feature a black
etched Italian frame combined with blue H20 polarized and mirrored
Revo lens. The Revo 1211 style is best known for the unique shape
of the lens, an elongated oval in shape but with a larger and elongated
bottom curve that complements the more subtly curved top. It's a
really unique shape and overall just an eye catching style with
the black on blue mirror combination. There is etching that goes
down each ear stem along, around the lens, and across the center
nose bridge for some added design flair. That being said, it's not
an ostentatious look because extravagance would clash with the blue
Revo H20 lens to which the eye is naturally drawn. Each Revo H20
blue mirrored lens is highly reflective and measures 1.75"
x 1.5" at the widest points, and the frame measures 5.125"
temple to temple so well suited as men's or women's vintage sunglasses.
The right lens is marked H20 inscribed in the glass, the Revo logo
is impressed in the black metal at each hinge point, and the ear
stem is marked CE 1211/001 Frame Italy. These vintage Revo sunglasses
have spring loaded hinges, original celluloid nose pads marked Revo,
and cool burgundy colored ear pads that go great with the black

A
unique style, Revo 961 005 sunglasses are extremely hard to find
and have a number of subtle design features that explain the popularity
if not the rarity. The front of the frame features a brushed gold
and slightly flared design, more angular than many Revo styles and
reminiscent in a way of vintage French cat's eye sunglasses from
the 1950s and 1960s. However, these Revo 961s are unique in that
the lens are framed by a thin tortoise shell band held in place
by an outer gold band, a perfect color complement and something
we can't recall seeing in any other style of vintage sunglasses.
The Revo lens are a particularly unusual shape in these sunglasses,
fairly flat on the top but totally rounded on the sides and bottom.
One of the most popular color, the Revo 961 005 sunglasses have
Revo amber / purple lens measuring approximately 2.125" x 1.65"
at the widest points that appear more brown in low light conditions
and completely purple in brighter sunlight. The hues of color that
come through are really eye catching, and they go great with the
gold and tortoise frame which measures approximately 5.5" temple
to temple. Each ear stem has the Revo logo near the hinge points,
and the inside of one stem is marked 961/005 Frame Italy. Try

These
early Revo 967 011 aviator sunglasses have polarized stealth mirrored
lens with great hues of purple and blue, a unique Revo interpretation
of the classic Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses style. From our perspective,
it's a winner! The 967 Revo sunglasses feature the stealth mirrored
Revo lens that looks light blue in low to moderate light but hues
of blue, purple, and the highly reflective mirror lens really kick
in when seen in direct sunlight. The brushed metal frame is of typical
Revo quality, perfectly finished and elegant not showy. These sunglasses
have spring loaded hinges, and the ear stems have the Revo logo
impressed in the metal at the 2 hinge points. This example also
retains the original celluloid nose pad also also marked Revo. These
are quite old so almost all of the marks on the ear stem have faded
to the point of obscurity, but through magnification you can make
out the mark Frame Italy and faint 967/011 model number. However,
we know this style well - not that we see it very often - so we
can confirm these as Revo 967 gunmetal aviators with the stealth
mirrored lens. The lens measure approximately 2.0" x 1.75"
and the frame measures 5.25" temple to temple. Rare and particularly

and vintage 1980s / early 1990s Revo 960 011 sunglasses feature
almost round Revo stealth mirrored lens with hues of light blue
and purple in a gleaming mirrored finish that is highly reflective.
Everyone here at the Vintage Sunglasses Shop loves the style and
shape of Revo 960 sunglasses, with the simple brushed silver frame
and impressed Revo logos letting the mirrored Revo stealth lenses
be the stars of the show! Perfectly unisex in design and size, this
is a model of vintage Revo sunglasses you are unlikely to see for
sale more than a few times in your life regardless of where you
look or where you live. These vintage Revo 960 sunglasses also feature
spring loaded hinges which are tight and in like new condition.
Aside from the impressed Revo logos on the metal frame ear stems
and original marked Revo nose pads, the inside of the stem is also
marked 960-011 Frame Japan. The sunglasses measure approximately
5.25" temple to temple and hold polarized Revo stealth lens that
measure 1.875" in diameter at the widest points. Even in the best
years, we only find 2 or 3 Revo 960 sunglasses to offer for sale

and elegant in gleaming smooth chrome paired with Revo's top of
the line Revo P H20 polarized stealth lens, it's easy to see why
the vintage Revo 3030 080/65 sunglasses have been worn by sports
figures and celebrities around the world. The lens are just beautiful
to begin with, light blue mirrored finish with hues of red and purple
that come through in sunlight. The Revo P H20 mirrored stealth lens
is highly reflective, creating a really unique look for others looking
at the wearer. A lot of Revo frames are etched and textured, so
we like the fact that this model is silky smooth chrome with the
ear stems made of nicely shaped chrome half way down and changes
to black prior to the ear pads. The sunglasses shape is gently wrapped
around the face for good wind and UV sun protection from the sides,
and they feature the Revo logo on each ear stem at the spring loaded
hinge points. The rectangular lens are curved and subtly wrapped,
and the Revo P lens measures approximately 2.25" x 1.25" at the
widest points with the frame 5.25" temple to temple. One lens is
marked Revo P and the other marked H20, and they also retain the
original marked Revo nose pads. One of the ear stems is marked 3030
080/65 59 17 130 while the other is marked Revo Made in Italy CE

Revo 953 008 sunglasses feature a wonderful tortoise shell frame,
a great shape, and intricate etching in the metal that frames the
hinge points and nose bridge of the front and the ear stems on the
sides. As a subtle design detail, we like the rivets just below
the nose bridge visible from the front, which kind of draws the
eye toward the center where you then notice the elaborate etching
in the metal nose bridge itself. These lens change color from amber
to deep purple depending on the angle of the light, one of the most
desirable of all Revo lens color combinations. The lens themselves
measure approximately 1.75" x 1.75" at the widest points on a frame
measuring 5.25" temple to temple, and they look great (trust us,
we tried them) as both men's and women's sunglasses. These vintage
Revo 953 sunglasses retain the original marked Revo nose pads and
are marked Revo raised in the metal on the ear stems near the hinge
points and CE 953-008 Frame Japan on the interior of the ear stem.

Early
Revo 1111 011 Python sunglasses are in very good vintage condition,
and we love the Revo python metal frames with the gray metal look
of snake skin down each ear stem and on the gently curved nose
bridge. The Python stealth mirrored polarized lens are perhaps
the finest single lens Revo ever produced, and the size and style
of these sunglasses look equally striking on a man or a woman.
It is hard to capture the true appearance of these vintage Revo
lens in photography because they alter their "stealth"
appearance quite dramatically in different light conditions. In
normal or interior lighting they have a shimmering light blue
look with hints of red and purple, but the more direct the sunlight
they reflect the more the mirror properties of the lens rise to
the forefront and makes it near impossible for others to see you
but you have a clear and UV protected view of them, hence the
"stealth" moniker. The lens themselves measure approximately
2.0" x 1.25" at the widest points of these oval shaped
lens. The frames themselves measure approximately 5.25" temple
to temple and are suitable for a man or a woman. Some of the marks
are still visible on the ear stem including Revo CE mark preceding
the model number and Frame Italy, but some of the print has faded
over the years. The Revo logo is also impressed in the metal at
the hinge points on both ear bars, a perfect complement to the
snakeskin texture of the Revo 1111 python look. The ear bars have
spring loaded hinges which always makes for a particularly comfortable
fit for a variety of facial contours, and these are even original
right down to the Revo logo on the two celluloid nose pads. Sleek
and stylish with a unisex size and look, the classic Revo 1111
Python sunglasses have been copied, including variations by Revo
themselves, but the clean lines and uniqueness of the original
as you see here has never been equaled or surpassed. The Revo
brand was acquired by the conglomerate Luxottica in 1999, and
there is no comparison in quality between a vintage pair of Revos
such as these and the modern Luxottica styles. Try

this is an example of vintage sunglasses that you will use frequently
while answering the inevitable questions about where you got them.

of the rarest designs, these vintage Revo 953 sunglasses feature
a wonderful matte black frame, a great shape, and intricate etching
in the metal that frames the hinge points and nose bridge of the
front and the ear stems on the sides. Best of all, the vintage Revo
purple mirrored lens are one of the most sought after of all Revo
lens sure to generate questions and compliments anywhere you go.
As a subtle design detail, we also like the rivets just below the

brushed gray gunmetal frame is an eclectic complement to the Revo
light blue mirrored stealth lens in these vintage Revo 1416 044
sunglasses. We really like this style, particularly the frame and
lens color combination but also right down the details such as the
gray tortoise ear pads that round out the look. It's pretty interesting
that, upon close examination, we really see 3 distinct colors in
these frames: The darker brushed gunmetal framing of the lens and
ear stems, the lighter brushed metal spring loaded hinge points
and nose bridge, and the gray tortoise ear pads. While different,
we think they blend together perfectly and add a lot of extra design
flair. The highly reflective mirrored stealth lens are one of the
single best and most popular of all top quality Revo UV protected
lens, and they measure approximately 2.0" x 1.25" at the widest
points of the oval on a frame measuring 5.25" temple to temple.
The Revo logo is raised in the metal on both ear stems at the hinge

a superb look and were made very early in Revo production, c late
1980s. These vintage Revo tortoise shell sunglasses have a real
design flair in the use of exposed hinges on the ear stems, a unique
Revo design that they only used on a few model lines in the late
80s and early 90s. The exposed hinge points wrap around to the front
of the sunglasses frame, subtly etched as a final design flourish.
The green Revo lenses measure approximately 1.75" x 1.75"
at the widest points, while the tortoise shell frame measures 5.25"
temple to temple. These early Revo vintage sunglasses are marked
with the Revo logo in gold on each ear stem near the hinge points,
and they have the distinctively designed Revo spring loaded hinges.

model 970 001 sunglasses with blue mirrored lens. The black Italian
frame features an etched teardrop design at each temple and the

the single most popular of the Revo mirror lens colors. Among the
