Legendary vintage Ray-Ban Caravan sunglasses are great in any style, but if you want the very best you will enjoy these vintage Ray-Ban Caravan 10k gold filled sunglasses. Done early in Ray-Ban's production, the 10k gold filled frame means that it will last and look great for years and years, and in fact these sunglasses pre-date the use of the Ray-Ban logo in script on the lenses which only began c 1970s. Ray-Ban Caravans have a unique lens shape that looks great on a variety of faces, male and female, and the combination of the green Ray-Ban lenses with the 10k GF frame really can't be improved upon. The frame measures approximately 5.375" temple to temple with lenses which measure approximately 2.125" x 1.875" at the widest points. The top of the double nose bridge is marked B&L Ray-Ban USA while the bottom of the nose bridge is marked B&L 1/30 10k GF USA, all impressed in the metal. These early B&L lenses pre-date the use of the Ray-Ban logo in script on the lens, but each lens has the etched BL on the top middle of the lens - a very early B&L practice that even pre-dated the etching of a BL near the hinge points. This beautiful old pair of Ray-Ban Caravan 10k gf sunglasses comes to you direct from a San Diego, CA estate collection of fine vintage jewelry and eyewear. Try Them On! /265 SOLD

While Ray-Ban Wayfarers come in a variety of color combinations, we think these vintage Ray-Ban Wayfarer II sunglasses that combine black with a blue patterned top accent is right up at the top of the list of most eye catching styles. They have all the classic flourishes of vintage Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses without the quality erosion that you see in modern production now that Ray-Ban is no longer owned by Bausch & Lomb but rather by the Luxottica conglomerate. The frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple and is suitable to be worn as men's or women's sunglasses, and the lenses measure approximately 2.0" x 1.75" at the widest points. These are early Wayfarers with each lens having the etched BL near the hinge points, and you will find the Ray-Ban logo in raised metal on the exterior of each ear stem which is also done in the blue pattern for some real design flair. The inside of one ear stem is marked B&L Ray-Ban USA, and the inside of the other stem is marked Wayfarer II. Try Them On! $185.00

If you're a fan of vintage Ray-Ban Leathers sunglasses but want a style that's a little bit different from legendary Ray-Ban aviators, check out these vintage Ray-Ban black Leathers sunglasses with rare round lenses in B&L gold plated frame. It's a really great look as men's or women's sunglasses, and round Leathers are quite hard to find and sell almost immediately upon hitting the site whenever we have them in stock. These vintage Ray-Ban have an added plus of B&L photochromatic lenses which change their color with varying light conditions, especially desirable for anyone who goes in and out of buildings frequently and doesn't like to keep removing his/her sunglasses. The frame measures approximately 5.0" temple to temple with lenses measuring approximately 1.875" x 1.75" at the widest points. Each Bausch & Lomb photochromatic lens has the etched BL in the glass lenses near the hinges, and the rear of the metal nose bridge is marked B&L Ray-Ban USA 49 [] 21. Try Them On! SOLD

A beautiful example of vintage Ray-Ban Leathers sunglasses can be yours with these rare vintage 58mm Leather aviator sunglasses inclusive of the leather wrapped General bar and B&L light brown photochromatic lenses. The B&L photochromatic lenses are each etched BL in the glass near the hinges along with the Ray-Ban logo in script on the right lens, and they'll change color to adapt to a variety of light conditions through some pretty amazing Bausch & Lomb optical lens technology. Don't be fooled by the rampant Ray-Ban fakes on the market today nor in modern Ray-Bans which are no longer produced by B&L but rather the Italian company Luxottica. The supple brown leather wrap looks great on the gold plated Ray-Ban aviator frame, and both lenses, ear pads, and the General nose bridge are all fully wrapped. These vintage Ray-Ban Leathers sunglasses are very hard to find, especially with the General bar and photochromatic lenses, and you'll love how the lenses perform and protect your eyes with superb visual acuity in all light conditions. The bottom of the nose bridge is marked B&L Ray-Ban 58 [] 14 impressed in the metal, and both of the nose pads are also original and marked BL. Try Them On! SOLD

For a different look in B&L Ray-Ban legendary aviator sunglasses, we think you'll really like these vintage Ray-Ban black frame aviator sunglasses with traditional ear stems and mirrored and moderately reflective brown Ray-Ban B-15 lenses. The combination of black and brown in the classic aviator sunglasses shape is a winner, and these also have a black General bar on top that adds a lot of extra design flair. The black metal Ray-Ban frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the teardrop shaped aviator lenses measure approximately 2.25" x 2.0" at the widest points. While not mirrored per se, the B&L brown lenses are moderately reflective and provide sharp visual acuity in all light conditions. The top of the double nose bridge is marked B&L Ray-Ban USA, while the bottom of the nose bridge is marked B&L Ray-Ban 62 [] 14. They also retain the original marked BL celluloid nose pads to complete the all original look, part of a Charlotte, NC estate collection of finer vintage designer sunglasses. Try Them On! $235.00

These upscale classic Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses are one of our most requested styles, with cable wire ear outdoorsman ear stems, "General" bar above the double aviator nose bridge, and early 58mm green G-15 lenses that pre-date the use of etching and the Ray-Ban logo in script c 1960s - early 1970s. This particular style of 58mm aviator - The General - has been the choice of pilots the world over for over 60 years, and these were early B&L production c 1960s - 1970s. The gold plated Arista frame ensures that these vintage B&L Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses will still be in good condition after another 50 years, and you can't beat the original B&L optical lens technology for glare reduction and UV ray protection from the sunlight. The cable wire ear stems are flexible and adjustable for a comfortable yet secure fit, and as you'll see from the photos these vintage aviators are not only high performance but they also look great at the same time. The top bar of the nose bridge is marked B&L Ray-Ban USA while underneath the frame is marked B&L 58 [] 14 USA, all impressed in the metal. The frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple, and the polarized green - gray G-15 B&L teardrop shaped lenses measure approximately 2.25" x 2.0" at the widest points. Try Them On! $235.00

Very rare and super cool, you may never see another pair of vintage Ray-Ban W1265 in your lifetime, and even here at the Vintage Sunglasses Shop we only see about 1 pair every 3 years. It's an incredible look reminiscent of vintage Ray-Ban Clubmaster sunglasses but with lots more style and panache. Ray-Ban W1265 sunglasses are a design explosion, with light tortoise shell frame tops and ear stems, a gleaming gold plated nose bridge, and B&L green G-15 lenses that are both etched BL in the glass near the hinge points. This is a style and quality that is sure to get you noticed - or send them back to us for a full refund. They're great as men's or women's sunglasses with a frame that measures approximately 5.5" temple the temple and elongated oval B&L lenses measuring approximately 2.0" x 1.375" at the widest points. The inside of one ear stem is marked with the style number W1265 while the other ear stem is marked with Bausch & Lomb Ray-Ban USA. As a side note, the Bausch & Lomb was only spelled out in full on very early production runs, so we think these Ray-Ban W1265 sunglasses date to c 1960s. The back of the 24k gold plated nose bridge is also marked B&L Ray-Ban USA impressed in the metal, and even the 2 celluloid nose pads are all original and marked BL. Rare. Try Them On! $325.00

Vintage B&L Ray-Ban 62mm aviator sunglasses have everything that collectors and vintage fashion afficianados look for - gold plated Arista frame, "The General" top nose bridge bar, cable wire outdoorsman ear stems for comfort and a secure fit, and green G-15 B&L Ray-Ban lenses which have etched BL at each hinge point and the Ray-Ban logo in script on the right lens. This style is the classic and legendary choice of pilots and aviators worldwide, particularly popular in the military and seen on many famous historical figures including General Douglas MacArthur. It's also the style frequently chosen by Michael Jackson, and the moderately oversized look of the 62mm teardrop lenses have also made them a choice of many female celebrities such as Demi Moore and Madonna. The gold plated B&L Ray-Ban frame measures approximately 5.25" temple to temple, and the 62mm B&L lenses measure approximately 2.5" x 2.0" at the widest points. Rare vintage Bausch & Lomb Wings mirrored glacier glasses have the unique Wings one piece optical lens and leather side flaps with restraining strap that made these the choice of many top skiers and mountaineers since they were first introduced in the 1980s. When you're skiing, especially on warmer sunnier days, you might not want to wear ski goggles but you still want to protect your eyes from glare and wind. If that's the case, nothing does a better job than B&L Ray-Ban glacier glasses. These vintage Wings arctic sunglasses measure approximately 5.5" temple to temple and feature a brown tint in a moderately reflective mirrored lens that is also gradient, i.e. trending somewhat lighter in the lower portion of the lens. They have flexible outdoorsman ear stems that wrap around the ears for a secure fit, and the leather flaps on each side fold inward for easy storage in the original B&L Wings black leather storage case which is included. The Wings logo is in gold at each hinge point on the ear stems, and one ear stem is marked Bausch & Lomb along with the B&L logo while the inside of the other stem is marked Frame France - Nylon. It's a fine example of the best in B&L cold weather ski sunglasses, and everyone here is partial to the one piece Wings lens design. Try Them On! $285.00

Bausch & Lomb Polar Ray lenses were optically ground and polished 6 base glass, and we are including an original Polar Ray "test tag" which came with the sunglasses and has a small round insert to show buyers the effect of the Polar Ray technology. Vintage Ray-Ban 58mm driving sunglasses are quite unique, combining moderately reflective mirrored B&L brown B-15 lenses great for all light conditions with the top "General" bar and regular ear stems for easy removal. These B&L lenses provide the perfect combination of UV protection and mirrored finish to reduce glare from road conditions and sunlight while driving. The gold plated B&L Ray-Ban frame is built to last, not like modern versions of Ray-Ban sunglasses now made by the Luxottica Group among their many other brands. While the same shape as Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses that more typically have the cable wire outdoorsman ear stems, drivers like the easy on/off that's more associated with regular ear stems on sunglasses. The frame and moderately reflective brown 58mm lenses are the right size for both men's and women's sunglasses, with frame measuring approximately 5.25" temple to temple and lenses measuring approximately 2.25" x 1.875" at the widest points. It was difficult to wrench these vintage Ray-Ban 62mm Caravan sunglasses out of the hands of our staff, for they are quite unique and rare in that they have a red tortoise shell General bar and red tortoise ear pads that are almost impossible to find in vintage Ray-Ban Caravans. You just don't see tortoise accents very often on classic Ray-Ban Caravan or aviator sunglasses, but we think they should have produced many more because the look is just superb. The use of the tortoise for both the General top bar and the ear pads ties the design together nicely. Everyone loves the interesting shape of the Caravan lenses, and these brown B-15 lenses are perfectly complementary to the use of gold and tortoise in the frame and measure approximately 2.5" x 2.0" at the widest points for a moderately oversized look. The frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, and the top of the double nose bridge is marked B&L Ray-Ban USA while the bottom of the bar is marked B&L Ray-Ban 62 [] 14 - all impressed in the metal. From the deadstock cache of a Wisconsin optician's estate, check out these gold plated vintage Ray-Ban 58mm aviator / driving sunglasses with top General bar and regular ear stems for easy on and off convenience. The gold frame measuring approximately 5.25" temple to temple really complements the B&L G-15 green lenses which measure approximately 2.25" x 1.875", dating to the period before the Ray-Ban logo was used in script on the lens but after the point they began to use a small etched BL near each hinge point c late 1960s / early 1970s. It's a classic style that incorporates the best in visual acuity through Bausch & Lomb optical lens technology, and so different from modern reproductions of this style that it really isn't of much use elaborating on the quality differences. The top of the double nose bridge is marked B&L Ray-Ban USA while the bottom of the nose bridge is marked B&L Ray-Ban 58 [] 14. Try Them On! $225.00

Very fine Ray-Ban Leathers sunglasses feature the hard to find leather wrapped General top nose bar and gold plated B&L frame in the classic 62mm size. They feature B&L green G-15 58mm teardrop shaped lenses made to fully protect your eyes while looking great, and each lens is marked with the etched BL near the hinge points plus the Ray-Ban logo in script on the right lens. We have a hard time finding vintage Ray-Ban Leathers in good condition, and trust us that modern versions made by Luxottica are far from the same as these vintage models made by Bausch & Lomb. Ray-Ban Leathers with leather wrapped General bar are even harder to find but always in the highest demand. The B&L optical quality lenses measure approximately 2.5" x 2.5" at the widest points, and the frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple. Beautiful and seldom seen vintage Ray-Ban W2980 OYAS are c 1980s and have a design look perhaps more associated with Revo but with vintage Bausch & Lomb Ray-Ban green lenses and high quality optics. The tortoise shell ear stems really stand out on these sunglasses, a rich hue that picks up hints a more reddish shade than the more common orange, and they look great with the black nose bridge, hinges, and rectangular green B&L Ray-Ban lenses. These are very popular as unisex sunglasses with frame measuring approximately 5.5" temple to temple and lenses 2.0" x 1.5" at the widest points. In fact, the last pair of Ray-Ban W2980 sunglasses we had in 2009 sold to a couple that was actually planning to share them. The couple that shares sunglasses together stays together? Anyway, they have a streamlined Ray-Ban logo in script embossed on one of the two ear stems near the hinge, and both lenses are etched BL near the hinge points plus the Ray-Ban logo in script on the right lens. The inside of one ear stem is marked B&L Ray-Ban, both original celluloid nose pads are marked BL, and one ear pad is marked W2980 OYAS impressed in the tortoise. Rare. Try Them On! $245.00

Direct from a midwestern optician's estate, vintage Ray-Ban Onyx WO793 tortoise shell driving sunglasses are not only rare but they capture one of the most striking retro looks imaginable with their uniquely angular and oversized frame. This pair was specially produced by Bausch & Lomb for fine optical retailers to display and market to their customers, marked on the interior ear stem Not For Sale but now you have your chance to buy them regardless many years later. There are plenty of special things about vintage B&L Ray-Ban Onyx driving sunglasses, but our favorites are the extra wide ear stems near the hinges and the combination rounded and angular shape of the front frame. The frame measures approximately 5.75" temple to temple making them perfect as men's sunglasses or oversized women's sunglasses, and each Bausch & Lomb lens measures approximately 2.25" x 1.5" at the widest points. The tortoise shell is rich and gleaming, and the Ray-Ban logo is embossed on the outside of the left stem near the hinge. The inside of one ear stem is marked B&L Ray-Ban USA Frame France while the inside of the other stem is marked Not For Sale Onyx WO 793. Just in and seldom lasting more than a week on the site, early and vintage Ray-Ban Arctic CATS glacier sunglasses feature B&L reflective lenses, leather side flaps, and a great Ray-Ban CATS French nylon frame that shades from dark to light for a unique 2 tone effect not usually seen in Ray-Ban sunglasses. These Ray-Ban Glacier CATS have flexible outdoorsman / shooter ear stems for a secure fit in active sports, and they also retain the original nylon strap attached to the leather blinkers. Ray-Ban Arctic CATS were really intended for skiing and alpine mountain climbing, but trust us that they look super cool and offer amazing glare protection regardless of your outdoor pursuit of choice. The leather side flaps protect the sides of your eyes from glare, rain, wind, and snow, and the nylon frame is designed not to stick to your skin even in the coldest of conditions. The exterior of one ear stem is marked Ray-Ban near the hinge while the other stem is marked CATS. The lenses measure approximately 2.25" x 1.875" at the widest points, and both lenses are laser etched with BL (Bausch & Lomb) near the hinge points. The inside of one ear stem is marked Bausch & Lomb Frame France while the inside of the other stem is marked Nylon France. The frame measures approximately 5.5" temple to temple, worn by men and women. Despite being 20+ years old, there are few modern equals to the optical quality and performance of Ray-Ban Arctic CATS glacier glasses which explains their enduring popularity. Try Them On! $285.00

Very early Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses c 1940s feature rare 52mm lenses, a smaller size than the typical mininum 58mm lenses and only made very early in Baush & Lomb production. They predate the use of the Ray-Ban logo in script as well as a laser etched BL on the lenses which is one of the means we use to date vintage Ray-Bans. These classic B&L Ray-Ban aviators feature a 12k gold filled B&L frame that measures approximately 5.0" temple to temple, perfect along with the 52mm lenses for most women and men with a smaller head and face size. In inches, the Ray-Ban teardrop lenses measure approximately 2.0" x 1.75" at the widest points. These vintage Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses have regular ear stems, original bakelite nose pads, and the gold plated frame is marked on the top of the nose bridge Ray-Ban and on the bottom B&L 1/10 12k GF all impressed in the metal. The lenses, size, bakelite nose pads, and top nose bridge marking techniques are all indicative of very early B&L Ray-Ban production. Early Bausch & Lomb shooter sunglasses preceed the adoption of the Ray-Ban brand and have all the bells and whistles when collectors and sunglass afficianados look for early B&L aviators from early to mid 20th century. They have bakelite nose pads, an early "General" bar, very early B&L green anti-glare lenses, and outdoorsman cable wire ear stems for a secure fit. This is an early B&L silver aviator frame which really stands out from the later year standardization on gold plating, and it is marked Bausch & Lomb impressed in the metal below the nose bridge with nary a mention of the Ray-Ban brand adopted a few years later. These early B&L aviator shooters measure approximately 5.375" temple to temple with B&L Tru Green lenses that measure approximately 2.25" x 1.875" at the widest points of the rounded teardrop. It's hard to mistake these c 1930s / 1940s Bausch & Lomb aviators for the gold plated, more teardrop shaped aviators to come, and those in the know will recognize the style of the very earliest specialized aviator pilot sunglasses ever produced. You will never see bakelite nose pads on subsquent aviators, and the early silver frame and lens shape is unmistakeable. Rare - part of an Austin, Texas collector estate. Try Them On! SOLD
